I saw the infomercials. Don't believe the hype. This machine is not for serious body builders. If you're used to doing certain exercises (bench press, leg curl, and others), you will need to adjust. The bench press is actually on an incline. You can not do a leg curl even with the optional leg extension. Also, you will notice that you are able to lift more "weight" on the bowflex.

With free weight, I can bench press 150lb. On the bowflex, i tried 150 and felt like a feature. I continued on and was able to bench press 180lbs on the bowflex!

The machine is good for beginners who are just starting out.The have a 6-week program to help lose weight. I did not buy the machine to lose weight, I bought it to stay fit. So maybe that 6-week program would be worth it. But if you are already in good shape and looking to maintain or build strength, this is not the machine for you.
