One strand: Bourdage Pearls is a jewlery boutique specializing in the design and sales of pieces made from Chinese freshwater pearls. Bourdage Pearls is owned by Sherri Bourdage, who opened the boutique in the 1990s. All of the jewlery is designed by Sherri, her husband or a member of her small staff.

Two strands: I stumbled upon Bourdage Pearls when I first moved from the suburbs to the city in August 2008. I spent the afternoon shopping along Southport and venturing in to many of the great boutiques. I love pearls, so I was very excited when I saw the display in the windows of Bourdage Pearls

My husband-to-be bought me my first pearl necklace from Bourdage Pearls.  It was so beautiful that I wore it on my wedding day!  I also worked with the owner of the store to custom design my bridesmaids jewelry/gifts.  Whenever I have a special occasion or not, I go to Bourdage Pearls.  They have an impressive range of affordable designs as well as the high-end Tahitians and South Sea pearls.  Everytime I walk into the store I am amazed at the gorgeous colors and styles of necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc.  I want to try everything on!  The salespeople are always so friendly, helpful...
