Excellent paper towels!!

You can't get better paper towels than the trusty, classic Bounty Basic! Big roll of strong yet soft sheets, you can clean big or small spills, water or grease or food bits, and you can use them to clean your windows and mirrors too. Doesn't break or leave any residue or streaks behind!

Bounty Basic Paper Towels

5

I've been buying Bounty Basic Paper Towels for many years now. I have tried other brands, some of which are as good a quality as Bounty but all of which are more expensive. This is the main reason Bounty has been purchased 9 out of 10 times for my household - it is tough, durable and absorbent. When antibacterial wipes are expensive (per wipe), I frequently spray a little antibacterial solution and then wipe thoroughly with bounty, it does the same job as a wipe but is much less expensive. Bounty Paper Towels also make for good napkins and as they are so mobile, I always take them camping. Not only are they good for wiping messes, spilled food etc but I also use them for drying my washed camping plates. I keep a roll in the truck for when my kids use hand sanitizers, it helps to dry off their hands so they don't get chapped. You can purchase a 41.3 sq ft roll for about 97 cents from Walmart. I've only purchased other brands if I've been in receipt of a coupon which resulted in a cheaper alternative brand. For the record, I tried to wash a Bounty paper towel in the washing machine just to see if it was reusable however it came out in shreds!

multipurpose paper towels

These towels are great for everyday kitchen duties. I use them to do things like pat dry meat and clean counters after cooking, as well as general mess cleanup. They're pretty versatile and decently absorbent. I like the basic towels with 1ply, I feel like I can get more done with less.

Waste of Money

I used to use nothing but Bounty for years and now with all the different types they come out with the ones with a design the plain white the pull off what you need what difference is it if the product has gone down hill. It took me almost a roll of paper towels to wipe up a small spill on my table and it is not the first time so goodbye bounty I have gone to viva and they are fantastic you might pay a little more but the end is you pay less as you need maybe one sheet or two to do the job that takes half a roll of bounty. If you have not tried it I bet once you do you wont switch back.

It's just that:: Basic. Try the regular Bounty instead

We bought the Bounty Basic recently because I had a coupon and it was on sale and I really, REALLY needed paper towels. I figured they are from the Bounty line, they must still be really good (we usually only buy Bounty because they are very thick and super absorbent and rarely fall apart). But when I brought them home and needed to use it to to clean a hairball mess that one kitty did overnight, it didn't do as great a job as our regular Bounty did. It started to shred and fall apart at the first scrubbing. I needed to use 5 paper towels what the regular Bounty did with 2. They are not even as soft as the others. They are quite rough, which surprises me. I do like, however, that they are much better than the store/generic brand but still. I will end up using these a lot faster than normal just because they don't do the complete job with a couple of towels. Once these are gone, I will go back to my regular paper towels and doubt I will go back.

Bounty Basic Paper Towels are a great value.

Perhaps the only thing in my house that goes quicker than paper towels is hot-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies. My family uses a bazillion (if that is even a word) paper towels, and we use them for everything - wiping up messes, drying our hands, wiping noses, you name it. I like these paper towels because they are very durable and they are not terribly expensive when you pick them up on sale with a coupon. They can be a little flimsy if the mess you are trying to clean is a big one. Sometimes I have to use several in order to completely get the job done, but that is okay when I've not paid a lot for the towel to begin with. They are only one size, so you can't choose to simply use a smaller size like you can with the select-a-size towels, and that is perhaps the only real downside to these.

Get Perforated Bounty Instead

2

I used to be a Bounty lover. We always use Perforated Bounty Towels for everything in the kitchen, and it worked great -- it absorbed liquid well and cleaned dust fast. It made me trust all "Bounty" brand. One day, we found this cheaper Basic towel on the shelf and was excited to save some money. However, when we try out this Basic Bounty towel, it is totally different. This Basic towel is thinner, not as soft as regular Bounty, and it could not do the job of absorbing enough water. Usually I would need two or three Basic towels to do the work that one perforated Bounty can handle. What a waste! I am so disappointed at the low quality of this towel. Stay away from this Basic towel and get Perforated Bounty Instead. Although the Basic towels are cheaper, you will use much more than perforated towel. If you want to save money, try the "Select a Size" Bounty, and that would work much much better.

Where to start when it comes to bountypaper towels. I mean i did a frickin' science fair project with paper towels in middle school where bounty was one of the brands we tested. It won if you didnt guess, otherwise i serverly lack common sense for not writing about the paper towel that actually won. My dad has been buying bounty since that fatefull science fair, which i'm still sore over becasue i only got an mention. Now bounty basics may not be as good as the other bounty products but it still gets the job done, and for less too. Despite it being not as good as the other paper towels in its brand it still trumps a huge pile of other paper towel brands. The diffrence between bounty and other paper towel brands is so apparent its almost a joke. The others brands just cant hold up to how well bounty absorbes liquids. If i never take a good look at the paper towel roll  i know its bounty because it only takes one paper towel. If i have to use anymore i know its time to whine to my dad about getting bounty next time. All in All bounty is the way to go.

A good paper towel at a convenient price!!

I have tried many different paper towels through the years trying to find one that would do the job without leaving lint behind. The regular Bounty and Viva paper towels leave so much lint behind on mirrors, windows and car windows, that I have stopped using them. The lint is as annoying as the dirty window. Yes Bounty and Viva are strong, but oh......that lint!! I purchased these Bounty basic paper towels mostly because I had a coupon for them that made them really cheap. When I opened the plastic, I was immediately disappointed. I didn't care for the overall feel of the paper towel. It felt like it was a cheap model of the original. I have since changed my mind however. They may feel cheap but they have a strength that is surprising. The best part is that they leave no lint behind. My appliances are all black and the lint shows up on those appliances very unfavorably. You can see every little speck. I am impressed with this paper towel. Highly recommended.

Bounty Basic Is Really Just That... Basic.

Bounty Paper Towels have another kind on the market that I have used which is called Bounty Basic. They are a basic paper towel, nothing fancy. They are not soft to touch and they appear cheap made when you open the package and take them out.  If you are looking for an inexpensive paper towel that can squeek by, then this may be for you.  This paper towel is made in the USA by using domestic and imported materials. It is a product that is distributed by Proctor & Gamble. In my opinion this is not one of the best products that Proctor & Gamble have on the market. They work in a pinch but will not absorb as well as some others. They are rough feeling and you are using more than necessary to get any liquid absorbed with them.
