Overall, Bounty Basic is a pretty good paper towel for everyday usage.  However, it's not as tough as the regular bounty as far as 'scrubbing power' goes.  They tend to tfll apart quicker than regular bounty.  If you are a money-saver (as many of us are), it is a good product to buy.  I usually buy one roll to use for the really tough jobs, and then use the Bounty Basic for all the other everyday uses.
