Bounce Dryer Bar —
The new Bounce Dryer Bar seemed easy enough and was full of scent as we could smell it even before we opened the package. I read the directions and opened the bounce dryer bar and stuck it to the dryer wall as it said to. The first couple of weeks were fine, and it was great not having to remember to put a dryer sheet in every load of laundry I was putting in the dryer. The clothes did come out of the dryer static free and had a fresh scent and were sort of soft. After the first month of use the bounce dryer bar detatched it's self from my dryers' wall and was tumbling around with my clothes. I was not happy with this and felt that this caused a residue to be on some of my clothing. I was able to restick the bounce dryer bar to the dryer wall and it seemed to stay without any problems, so I am not sure why it came off. Also on the 5th week I noticed that when I dryed my towels they were not as soft as I liked, and that when they were wet after drying I did not like the smell of them. As for the value of the Bounce Dryer Bar compared to dryer sheets, as I was shopping I noticed that at the super shopping center I shop at the two month bar costs $4.97 + tax, which in my state is 7%, so it is $5.32 for two months, and I would pay normally $2.34 for a box of my brand of dryer sheets containing 120 sheets and since I usually do 4 loads of laondry per week using one dryer sheet per load I would only pay approx .65 cents for the same amount of dryer sheets for the same two month period and I know they would always make my clothes come out exactly how I want them to. So for me the Bounce Dryer Bar is not a good value for the actual price that it would cost me to use it. But if you are a very brand specific person who only uses bounce and/or maybe you have a coupon, or maybe it would just cost less where you shop, it would be worth the price for you to use it. But when I am asked to try a new product I first see if my family and I like it, then I break down the actual value of the product by taking the portion or amount of uses it has and divide the actual cost of the product in the stores in my area by that, then I compare it to the product I was using that this would replace, and if the new product does not out perform the one I was using, or if it does not cost the same or less, of if my family does not like it extremely better, then I will not spend the extra money for the new product, especially now with money so tight! But I did see other customers that were willing to spend the extra money to try the new Bounce Dryer Bar while I was shopping and I did not notice that any of them had a coupon. So I would recommend this Bounce Dryer Bar to anyone who already uses bounce products, but if you are a bargin shopper like me, it is not a smart value for the price you will have to pay unless you might have a coupon worth at least $1 off or more. I do think they need to improve the adhesive they use to keep the bar keeper attached to the dryer wall to make sure it does not come off until you want it to. I might also mention that I always use a liquid softner with every load of laundry I do as well as a dryer sheet to soften and remove static cling. The liquid softner is just like using conditioner for you hair, it removes the laundry soap from your clothing allowing them to rinse clean.NOTE: the reviewer indicated that they received a sample of Bounce Dryer Bar
