I received the Bounce Dryer Bar, and have used it a few times. It has pro and cons for me. It works as well as sheets, but not necessarily any better- controls static, fresh smell, no liquids to add to the washer etc.
When using sheets I use an old one to clean the lint trap of the dryer after each load, which is convenient and double use of the Bounce dryer sheet. I don't have this available now with the bar, but there is less waste for the environment.
The first load I dried (when the bar was new) a dark load of course, at least three dress shirts - knit or need to be ironed had several white marks (residue). I rewashed one and used a wet rag to remove the marks from the others. Lighter loads and whites didn't have the problem. I'm assuming as the bar gets older it will be less prone to leaving residue. I will review again in a week or two.
A major concern I have - there were no instructions how to remove the unit from my dryer should I decide I don't want to use it anymore. Will there be a sticky mess in the drum, that I can't get cleaned up? Is this a permanent attachment, with or without a bar?? I should have consider this more closely before attaching the Bounce bar inside my dryer. Just a word of caution to those who have not tried it, it would be worth contacting Bounce to see if there is a way to cleanly remove the unit.
NOTE: the reviewer indicated that they received a sample of Bounce Dryer Bar
