Bounce Dryer Bar Review

I have to admit that when I first heard about the Bounce Dryer Bar, I was skeptical.  The idea of actually adhering something to the inside of my dryer didn't really appeal to me and I assumed that it would leave a greasy reside on the clothing.  Well, I was absolutely wrong and the Bounce Dryer Bar exceeded all my expectations.  I will NEVER go back to using dryer sheets or the expensive fabric softeners. 

What makes the Bounce Dryer Bar so great?

First of all, it is EASY to use.  You don't even have to think about it!  Wash your clothes as you normally would, without adding any fabric softeners, and when they are clean just put them in the dryer.  Don't add anything else! 

Secondly, the Bounce Dryer Bar REALLY makes clothes smell fresh and clean.  It makes clothes feel soft and eliminates static cling. 

How do you get the Bounce Dryer Bar on the dryer?

It's easy!  All you do is remove it from the package and slide the dryer bar onto the plastic holder.  Peel thea backing off the holder and press onto the dryer wall.  It hold on tightly to the dryer, and doesn't move. 

I fully expected the Bounce Dryer Bar to come loose when the dryer was turned on and began rotating, but it didn't budge.  It stayed on tightly, and does not slip off of the plastic holder.  The holder stayed in place and didn't move at all.  It makes no sound when the dryer is on either.

How long does the Bounce Dryer Bar last?

I do A LOT of laundry in my home.  Typically, I was at least two loads of laundry a day.  Still, I have had my Bounce Dryer Bar in place for two months, and it is still working.  As you use your dryer, you can see the bar getting a little smaller, and thinner.  When it is ready to be replaced, you will be able to tell just by looking at the bar.  Depending on how much laundry you do, your Bounce Dryer Bar can last up to four months.  With the amount that I do, however, I'm projecting that each bar will last me around 2 1/2 months.

What scents are available?

As far as I can tell, there are two different scents available and they both smell great.  Outdoor Fresh and Fresh Linen are the scents that I have seen.  We use the Outdoor Fresh scent and it leaves clothes smelling great.  The scent is actually much more subtle than when you use dryer sheets.

How much does the Bounce Dryer Bar cost?

When I went shopping for this product, I expected the price to be high, simply because it claims to last so long.  But....it's actually very affordable.  I think I paid right around $ 4.50 for one dryer bar.  That is really just about the same price that I would pay for a package of dryer sheets, but the Bounce Dryer Bar works better and is so much more convenient.  If the price was higher, I would pay it.  IT WORKS GREAT!

Is the Bounce Dryer Bar hard to replace?

No.  When it comes time to replace it, you'll just slide out the old bar and put the new one in it's place.  There's nothing tricky to it.

Can the Bouncer Dryer Bar holder be removed from the dryer walls?

If you decide that you no longer want to use the Bounce Dryer Bar, you can remove it from your dryer wall.  You will need to:

• Turn your empty dryer on the High setting for five minutes to soften the adhesive.
• Wait several minutes for the dryer drum to cool, then use a plastic spatula to gently pry the holder off. Do not metal, as it can scratch the dryer.
• Use the spatula to rub off any excess residue. You can also use a wet dishtowel with some mild soap like Dawn® Dish Detergent.

Bottom Line - I recommend the Bounce Dryer Bar above all other fabric softeners, dryers sheets, and so on.  It is more affordable, it's convenient, and it is environmentally friendly because you aren't throwing away all those dryer sheets!
