My Viewpoint!
As a mother of two and a daycare owner, there are certain baby items that I always keep pretty stocked up on. Second only to food is diaper rash creams. ...
review »As a child care provider of yong toddlers, I have used and seen the effects of every kind of diaper cream imaginable. After being fed up with trying to scrub and scour Desitin off yet another sore bum, I was more than happy with the results of Boudreaux's Butt Paste...it goes on AND came off so easily. Too many diaper creams seem to cause just as much harm in trying to get them off as good they may have possibly done while on. Boudreaux's Paste definitely works and is easy to work with. Oh, and it smells good, in a different kind of way. However, I have found that petroleum jelly/vasaline...
review »I was very reluctant to try anything that called itself Butt Paste. The ideas that the name conjured were far from pleasant. However, my pediatrician actually suggested it for my son's extremely bad diaper rash. This is the only stuff that actually works for him!
When I opened the packet I couldn't believe that the ointment was actually flesh colored. This was far different from the ominous white stuff I have previously tried. He never had frequent diaper rashes, but when he did, the Desitin seemed to irritate his skin; and it was hard to wipe off when it did cause him pain. I noticed an immediate difference with the Butt Paste. The smell is very pleasant, but I don't think the kids notice that. More than that, it's much less irritating to already painful skin. And if I do want to remove it for any reason, it comes off easily. Be forewarned that it's kind of an oatmeal color, so you may open a wet diaper and...
review »I am a mother of four, with the baby of the family still in diapers. I have changed so many diapers and used so many creams it is mind boggling! I usually stuck with Desitin, but when I had baby number four a friend gave me some Boudreaux's Butt Paste as a joke because of the funny name. I was willing to give it a try, though, and was very impressed! First of all it has a very nice smell. It isn't medicine like at all. Secondly it spreads very well, and doesn't seem to hurt a baby's sore tush when it goes on. And lastly, and most importantly, it works! It seems like it healed up...
