This stuff is amazing! My little boy had a really bad case of diaper rash for over two weeks.  It would go away, then come back and I tried everything on the shelf to clear it up.  I was at the end of my rope, then a friend told me about Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I kind of laughed at the name, but I... review »

a child care provider, A diaper rash pro!

As a child care provider of yong toddlers, I have used and seen the effects of every kind of diaper cream imaginable.  After being fed up with trying to scrub and scour Desitin off yet another sore bum, I was more than happy with the results of Boudreaux's Butt Paste...it goes on AND came off so easily.  Too many diaper creams seem to cause just as much harm in trying to get them off as good they may have possibly done while on.  Boudreaux's Paste definitely works and is easy to work with.  Oh, and it smells good, in a different kind of way.  However, I have found that petroleum jelly/vasaline...

I was very reluctant to try anything that called itself Butt Paste.  The ideas that the name conjured were far from pleasant.  However, my pediatrician actually suggested it for my son's extremely bad diaper rash.  This is the only stuff that actually works for him!

When I opened the packet I couldn't believe that the ointment was actually flesh colored.  This was far different from the ominous white stuff I have previously tried.  I was also surprised by the pleasant odor that it had.  I was used to the overly medicated creams that made my child smell like an old man with ben-gay.

The paste...

I discovered Butt Paste om the recommendation of another mom when my (4-year-old) son was an infant.  He never had frequent diaper rashes, but when he did, the Desitin seemed to irritate his skin; and it was hard to wipe off when it did cause him pain.  I noticed an immediate difference with the Butt Paste.  The smell is very pleasant, but I don't think the kids notice that.  More than that, it's much less irritating to already painful skin.  And if I do want to remove it for any reason, it comes off easily.  Be forewarned that it's kind of an oatmeal color, so you may open a wet diaper and...

When I started introducing my older boy to fresh fruits, he got his first diaper rash.  I tried everything.  I went thru about 4 tubes of each of the other brands.  But nothing worked.  Finally I tried Beaudreaux.  And in a matter of hours literally I was able to see a difference.  Now when I even think he is going to get sore, I put it on and he stays clear.

I was given this at my baby shower and I must say, it's far superior to it's counterparts.  And the packaging is so cute and funny!  My dad (Xander's Grandpa) thinks it's hilarious.  Anything to add a little humour to diaper time, right?

It is very effective at preventing AND healing diaper rash.  I find the scent fairly soothing, and it's pretty easy to spread around.  Some other brands I have tried have seemed more sticky and hard to get spread over a very large area.

Buttpaste comes Pediatrician recommended and contains 16% Zinc Oxide, which of course is the healing and protecting agent in...

Ok, first let me start by saying, this is GREAT stuff. We worked hard at prevention, but as most moms know, rashes are going to happen, no matter what. So, when we noticed a rash developing and nothing else working, we decided to spend the extra money and give this a try. It worked, first try. Now, the rash wasn't severe, but becoming very red and starting to turn bumpy. I would recommend this for anyone who can't seem to clear up a rash, but I wouldn't use this for prevention because of the price, the others work fine for regular use, Butt paste if a rash develops. We always keep a tube on hand.... review »

With a name like that it's a wonder the product sells, but it's not the name that generates sales, it's the product itself! Boudreaux's Butt Paste is by far the best diaper rash cream on the market, great for any sort of heat rash or diaper rash, and not just for the babies!
I'm originally from the north and when I moved down south to be with my husband and his then three year old toddler I was very skeptical of the stuff. I'd been raised on things like destin that require reapplication a few times in a day to get rid of the rash, but I've NEVER had to reapply butt paste. One time on and the...

I am a mother of four, with the baby of the family still in diapers.  I have changed so many diapers and used so many creams it is mind boggling!  I usually stuck with Desitin, but when I had baby number four a friend gave me some Boudreaux's Butt Paste as a joke because of the funny name.  I was willing to give it a try, though, and was very impressed!  First of all it has a very nice smell.  It isn't medicine like at all.  Secondly it spreads very well, and doesn't seem to hurt a baby's sore tush when it goes on.  And lastly, and most importantly, it works!  It seems like it healed up...

I have tried Boudreaux's Butt paste, and this oitment is the only ointment for me. It's thick, but not messy. It is also recommended by pediatricians. My daughter is almost 3, and sometimes she still get's diaper rash. I have only used Balmex before I tried Boudreaux's Butt paste. Once I tried it, I knew it was the only one for me. The Butt paste doesn't leave a nasty residue on my daughters skin, like other ointment did. I also recommended it to other mom's who were haveing the same problem as I was. They also thought it to be the best thing they have ever used. Within a few days, the rash,... review »

This is the best product that I have ever used for diaper rash, and I have used many.  I have 2 grown kids and have done daycare for 30 years.  Butt Paste clears up diaper rash very fast and I would recommend it to everyone.  I received samples from a neighbor and decided to try it on my new granddaughter.  It only took a little of the Butt Paste and in no time at all, my granddaughter's redness was clearing up.   I know it costs a little more than some of the other products on the market, but this is so worth it for the performance of Butt Paste.  I kept a couple of the sample packets... review »

My son never had much problem with diaper rashes. But a few times he got them, and I used to use Destin Cream. It worked fairly well, But once he turned One he got them a lot more, So I found the butt paste for him, and immediately after one application the redness had faded, and he was more comfortable with me wiping down there. I have since not gone back to Destin. Butt Paste has a great smell, goes on very smooth and because of its brown color it is easier to see where it is being applied, where with other clear gels you cant exactly tell if it is applied enough.

I'd be lost without Bourdeaux's Butt Paste.  Don't let the name put you off.  This butt paste works like a charm.  Having two kids who are prone to a more serious diaper rash called diaper burn, the only thing that helps to clear up rashes and prevent the recurrence of diaper burns has been Bourdeaux's.  It spreads easily, doesn't have an overpowering scent, and mostly importantly quickly treats the problem area.  Save yourself some money and go for buying the big tub right off the bat.
