I was extremely pleased with the Peabody Marriot the other weekend with the room being quite spacious, nice seating area, and perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. My review of Marriott Peabody

Room was good. Clean and comfy. But the resturant was very expensive and the bar person new nothing on how to mix a drink and charged alot for them.. there was no continental breakfast included and for pastry and coffee it was priced over 9 dollars.

The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bedding was, well, Marriot quality, it was like floating on a cloud. The hotel was quiet and enjoyable. We ate in the restaurant and had a very good meal. The only difference that I could see in this hotel and the very best hotels is that you are pampered in the very best hotels whereas here you are welcomed, they tell you where everything is and then send you on your own - but are never far away in case you need something.

Dining: Short Drive, Bring your swimsuit, they have a great jacuzzi

The Manager makes the Difference.

For a one day business stay the Marriot Peabody was great. The Hotel Manager was personally greeting guests at the front door in the morning and checked in with our group as we were having lunch. The other staff that I interacted with were helpful and cheerful which was a positive after a long travel day. A good meeting has coffee and such availble throughout the meeting time and this was the case here. The stay at the Marriot Peabody was short but one of the best I've had.

The Marriott Hotel in Peabody is a very comfortable, private hotel that is superb for a weekend getaway or for a business trip to the Boston area. It can be a little difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. Beware the Boston traffic in the morning and the afternoon if you need to get somewhere.
