I haven't been to Boston Market in about 6 years. I was recently invited to do a buzz campaign at bzzagent.com for them though. Boy have things changed! The reason I haven't gone there sooner is because I didn't think there was a drive thru (everything is less convenient with a 1 year old). I was pleasantly surprised when I got there to find one. The kid behind the window was very friendly too.

My husband and I both got the meatloaf. I got the mac and cheese and the sweet potato casserole as my sides and hubby got the mashed potatoes and coleslaw as his. They were both so delicious!! If I wanted to I could have snuck it home and told my husband I made it myself. It tasted so homemade. They use all fresh ingredients. It was so nice to be able to drive out of a drive-thru with food that I could be proud to present to my family. We didn't have to feel guilty about the calories we were consuming, gag on greasy fried foods, or wonder if what we were eating came from an animal, mineral, or machine.

I can't wait for my next adventure to Boston Market. I saw a sirloin roast on the menu that I am so excited to try. If you haven't been to Boston Market in a while it is worth a second look. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the changes they've made and the good things that have held constant.

I like Boston Market, but there are NONE near me! When I was in the Air Force I went a few times and enjoyed it. Great review!

I've always liked Boston Market but have a hard time getting my wife to go. She thinks the food is bland but I enjoy it. Nice review!

Because of your review, I might drop by us here in Oak Park. I have always liked them but they were closed for redecorating for so long I fell out of the habit of going there. I love Boston Market -- my cousin and I went to the one out in Wheaton one Friday after Thanksgiving a few year ago to bag dinner to take home for my aunt and us and it was delicious. I love those sliced apples.

I've only been to Boston Market once and it was good. I think that the locations nearby have closed though. I'll have to look into it, especially since I'm not much of a cook and will take any shortcut that I can get.

A friend of mine, who has since moved with her hubby back to Switzerland, once worked at a nearby Boston Market when the chain was named Boston Chicken. She sometimes would bring my mom and me some rotisserie chicken and sides to thank us for dog-sitting while Rolf and she went to visit relatives in Europe.
