We've had our Bose Speaker System for over 5 years now. It truly revolutionized the way our family listens to music. Before hearing it, I really thought we would be jeopardizing sound quality, but turns out that is anything but the case. This compact speaker system packs a lot of power. I'm not just talking volume here, but clarity as well. It has a true sound that sounds good whether you're using it for background music or you're blasting it. It changed our home, in that we got rid of our traditional stereo system, i.e., the receiver, disc player, end table-sized speakers and turntable (yes, we still had a turntable). We cleaned house! I honestly can't imagine life without our Bose Speaker System. If you've got an iPod...this is the only way to listen to it! Sound Quality The sound is crystal clear, even at loud levels. Performance We' ve never had a problem with our Bose Speaker System! Battery Life The remote battery seems to last a long time. We've replaced the battery only once and it was both inexpensive and easy to do. Durability I would have given 5 stars to durability, but my only complaint is the design of the power plug. Where the cord enters the unit itself needs to be redesigned. The cord comes out too easily. The connection isn't as secure as it should be, but if it you don't plan on moving the unit around a lot, this isn't really an issue. Ease of Use So portable you can move it where you need it, or wherever the party is! Design The Bose System has a nice simple design. I like that there are no knobs or buttons to fuss with. This also makes it easy to dust.

I got these speakers to go along with my ipod and I have to admit that I was greatly satisfied. The sound is loud and clear and they are just perfect. The price was well worth it & I would recommend these speakers to anyone. Try them & I'm sure you'll love them too!

Bose is absolutely the best! The sound that comes from this speaker is amazing. It hold the iPod in front of a single speaker, that is compact enough to go in a kitchen, living room, bedroom, etc. For its size, it has incredible power and even as the sound gets louder, it stays crystal clear!

I have always wanted one of these, but wanted to wait for them to go on sale. So as soon as they were I bought me two, I am so glad i did, the sound is Awesome! I just love the way it sound it's so clear not like the OLD sound. I love the way it sits in the dock so cute.

I never thought I would spend so much for a speaker. When my husband decided we were getting this, I thought he was nuts. That was before we took it home and plugged it in. I don't ever want another speaker again. The sound that comes out of this is amazing! I don't know how they do it but what they do is right. With just one speaker they make it sound as if it is surround sound. Now we have other name brand speakers as well but nothing compares to the Bose. As money permits all our speakers in the house will be a Bose. I also like that this one charges my Ipod and is fairly easy to take anywhere. Whenever we travel we pack our laptop, ipod and the Bose speaker. I know it is pricey but you will be amazed at how wonderful the sound is that comes out of this little guy.

Pricey, but worth it! Of course, you get what you pay for so I expected to pay a pretty penny for these Bose speakers. Although a bit heavy because it is so well built, it is indeed portable and I bought a nifty little Bose case to cart it around in. I love the design...simple, clean lines and a cool, simple to use remote. It delivers rich sound with amazing clarity and full bass. You can really crank it up too without hearing any distortion. It has a built-in rechargeable batter that lasts at least 4 hours. It not only powers my iPod but charges it at the same time...a very nice feature. You can tweek the EQ settings but I mostly just leave it at the default setting and sound is incredible. Gotta have this accessory for your iPod/iPhone!!

First, let me say that I'm not an expert in speaker sound or quality. That being said, I have always heard great things about the Bose systems. We have a Bose radio and it has been fantastic so when I got an Ipod, I wanted the same kind of sound and quality in a speaker system. After looking around, I found several options but kept coming back to Bose and after purchasing this, I was not disappointed! The sound is very crisp and clear, and the size is very compact which makes it easy to pack for travelling. I am also very sensitive to reverberation and a heavy base sound and I did not experience any of that with the Bose Ipod Speaker System. The only downside with purchasing a Bose speaker system for your Ipod would be the pretty hefty cost. As I have learned over the years, you really do pay for what you get and with this system, you get quality sound, portability, and the overall quality that Bose is famous for. I highly recommend.

Bose is fantastic. I bought this not too long ago and it is great. Bose products are very very expensive, but they are worth it. Sound quality is very important to me, and I got exactly that. I love music and I listen to it all of the time, and I love to just plug my iPod in and sing along to all of my favorite songs. It has great bass response as well as an absolutley fantastic high end. One of my very favorite things about this, is that I can have my Bose Speaker system open and in plain sight, have one of my friends, close their eyes and they cannot pinpoint where the sound or music is coming from. I could sit and listen to music all day as long as I have this machine with me. I was a music major in college and good quality sound is of the utmost importance to me. I wish that the Bose iPod speaker was a little less expensive, so that everyone could afford high quality awesome sound. It is the best

Every song is played crystal clear. This is the first compact sound system that i've had that allows me to actually feel the bass. I was in my high school dance program. I was able to easily transport the music to practice anywhere we needed to go. It also looks very sleek and modern. It adds to a room more than detracts because of it's appearance. The volume controls are nice because they rely on touch and it's not a button that requires pressing. The dock is excellent: fits my ipod classic and the ipod touch. The size of the speakers is excellent, not taking up too much space. The only thing I don't like about the system is that the remote gets lost easily, and perhaps, there should be a holster for the remote. Also, if you're looking for an alarm clock/speaker combo, this isn't it. It's not an iHome, but it sounds a thousand times better. It's definitely worth giving up an alarm/fm radio for the sound quality of this Bose Ipod Speaker System.

I surprised my husband with the IPOD system from Bose for Christmas.  We had just purchased the Bose speakers for my sons computer.  Both were wonderful.  I never believed that you could tell the sound quality but you really can.  It is just like being in the room.  I felt the pricing was competitive and it was an investment in something that would be enjoyed in our house for many years.  There were two choice of color both silver and black.  It was easy to set-up and he can enjoy music we already have on his IPOD.  We also hooked up and inexpensive CD player which had a radio and CD player in it.  With both the sound quality was greatly enhanced.  You could hear rich low tones and high tones with equal clarity.  I would highly recommend both the IPOD player and the speakers for the computer to anyone.  Both my husband and son were happy with both purchases.  Bose is definately a quality product.
