We bought this Bose Sound Dock to replace an outdated stereo system. We wanted something small and yet have great sound. We initially wanted to go with a bigger sound system for the home, but opted for this smaller, less expensive item. I mainly use this with my iPod, but I have used this with my iPhone too. It charges as it's docked on the system. (It doesn't charge as quickly as if you were to just plug it into the wall) I've heard that Bose items can be overpriced and that you're paying for the name, but I'm not disappointed with this sound dock. You can't compare this to a home stereo system, obviously it's just a small unit.. but the quality of sound is amazing. It is so very easy to use and small and compact enough to move from room to room. The remote can have more functions, in my opinion. But then again, if that were the case, the remote would be a lot bigger than it is now. Overall I'd recommend this to our friends.

We've had our Bose ipod dock for over a year and a half and it is AWESOME! It plays beautifully and looks sleek. BIG sound for such a small machine! This was my first Bose purchase and they officially have a customer for LIFE!!! I will never buy another brand now! We have used this for every party we've hosted since we purchased it and its more than enough, and we host some pretty large parties at times! I just can't say enough about this thing!

I received the Bose dock for my iPod as a gift and I love it! When doing chores around the house I can have my favorite music playing and not have to worry about the iPod's headphones falling out of my ears while I work, or missing the phone ringing. It has an outstanding sound, as Bose is noted for. Of course it also charges your iPod when you place it in the dock and you never misplace the iPod if it is in the dock! AND as an added bonus I just discovered the Bose dock can be hooked up to my laptop computer. The speakers on my laptop are not that loud or clear, so I use the Bose dock as an external speaker and the sound is terrific! (You have to remove the iPod from the dock for the music to come from your computer) I would highly recommend this product. It takes up very little space but has a very big sound!

My husband bought the Bose Sound Dock Digital Music System for iPod and iPhone back in 2008 for me as a birthday gift. I knew he must have spent a lot of money on this speaker but after hearing my music on it for the first time, I knew it was worth the money. I always heard the Bose are great speakers but they cost too much so forth and so on but there is really a difference in the sound quality. I felt like I was listening to my music the way it was meant to be heard, crisp, clear, and loud. I take it outside a lot while having BBqs and that little thing is LOUD enough to keep the party going. A couple bad things about the Bose Sound Dock include that you can not tell how loud it is, I mean there is not a number or anything that says 1-10 volume so you do not know if you have it to its loudest. Also, it does not charge my iphone and I do not know if it is just my sound dock but my back wire sometimes slips off.

A friend highly recommended a Bose sound system to me, and upon close examination I decided to purchase one as a Christmas gift for my husband. I have not been disappointed. I very seldom buy things at full price or am willing to pay a higher price for name brand. The Bose has been one of my best investments. The sound quality on the Bose is unmatched. The remote comes in handy while in other rooms of my house. One of the best things about my dock is that the volume goes quite high, and can be heard throughout the house. The high volume does not distort the music, but rather makes it sound almost as if each room has a speaker. The Bose sound system supports a wide range of mucis and plays each genre to its full capability. The bass of my Bose sounds like that of a much larger sound system. This was one time I have not regretted spending more money for a quality item. I would highly reccomend this product to anyone who loves music.
