We originaially bought a pair for my husband and I. We love them so much that a few months later we bought three more pairs to give our children. We fly alot and these are wonderful, esp. on long trips. My son uses his all the time in the house as well. The battery seems to last a long time. You will never need another pair of headphones after you buy the Bose QC2. I've had them for over 2 years and I use them everywhere. In the library to study, on the plane when traveling, even on the go. They block out just about any sound in the world. I've had them on with people yelling right next to me and I don't hear a thing. I recommend QC2 over the QC3 because it fits right over your ears and it really blocks out any sound. I travel often and these are great. They cut out the airplane noise (but not voices) and they make my ipod music sound great! — They do make your ears a bit warm at times, but it isn't a big issue. Bose has done an amazing job with this product, the sound quality is amazing, it make you feel like your in the studio with the band. The only problem is they are bulky and not good to use while running. In the office or at home they are wonderful, they cancel out every noise around you, so you can complete your work, or enjoy your music in peace. I can sleep with these headphones on or go jogging, they are extremely comfortable and I love them! They may be a little bit bulky, but they really cut out all the sound around you and sound great. The music is played clear and I have no problems with the sound quality. I've gone through numerous sets of headphones and have probably spent as much money twice as what I did on this one set that will last way longer than any others. Not only do these headphones sound great, they are awesome at cancelling out unwanted outside noises.
