Bose - In-ear headphones Review

I have had these headphones for about two years now and I really enjoy the sound that comes from them and they are very comfortable to wear.  They are made by Bose and therefore you can expect the quality to be above what you would get with a regular pair of headphones.

One of the problems that I have run into with these headphones is that the in-ear pads seem to come off of the headphones too easily.  Since the pads are a frosty color they pick up the color of whatever they are setting on and so they are hard to find.  I have even tried to use some super-glue to glue them on so that I don't have to continually worry about losing them when I go to the gym but that didn't work either.  Bose has realized that this might be an issue so they have made replacement pads available for $7, which as far as I'm concerned is way too much when the headphones themselves cost $100.

Speaking of the price of these headphones, it is too high.  Some people out there will try to convince you that you get what you pay for but there has to be a limit.  Quite honestly I wouldn't have these headphones if I hadn't received them from a group that I volunteer with that received a large donation from Bose.  I appreciate that they are willing to donate over $25,000 worth of headphones, but at the same time it didn't cost them that much to make these so really it is probably more like a couple of thousand dollars at best, which is still better than some companies, but at the same time, with the amount they are charging for their products, they can definitely afford to donate more, but I can't complain.

If you don't mind spending a big chunk of change on a set of headphones and are looking for good quality sound and comfort, then these are a great set of in-ear headphones.  If you are more budget conscience, then I would suggest shopping around for something a little cheaper.
