  No wonder Bose has such a great reputation. I've never owned any of their speakers for my main system, but I can tell you that these multimedia speakers rock! I've honestly never heard such full, clear, realisitic sounds from a set of computer speakers. I listen to a lot of music on the computer for work, so I appreciate a great sound. This set is simple, offering only volume controls. The volume itself is impressive...I've never gotten over half volume. I bought this for my husband so he would have better speakers for the computer.  He does a lot of music recording and we only had the factory speakers that came with the computer (really poor quality).  The Bose speakers are great in that they deliver the quality you would expect without being too expensive.
