I've had a set of Bose headphones for over a year now and still love them as much as when they were new.
The model I have are the over the ear type and not the noise cancelling version. I have spent many hours flying and using these headphones over the last year or so. I have found these headphones give me about the same amount of sound dampenning as the noise cancelling version but at half the price. I have tried both types and prefer the pair that I am reviewing here.
As with most, if not all, Bose products the sound quality is excellent. I have used them with mp3 players, laptops, and PSP and had great sound with all. There is plenty of cord so there is no pulling of the headphones when you move around. The set I have also included a couple different plug adapters for other sized jacks.
The only possible downfall I see is the carrying case. This set comes with a drawstring bag instead of the hard case of the more expensive models. I can personally live with this, but it is something to consider.
