These Bose headphones are my husband's but I steal them all the time. They have a way better sound than other headphones AND they are soooo comfortable. They aren't "noise cancelling" in that they don't have the extra feature to add white noise into the background. However, they still have noise cancelling properties because of the design. The cushioning hugs your face and head all around your ears so it blocks out other noises. It's great. I only wear them inside though. While I love the sound, they are much too big and bulky for me to feel comfortable wearing them in public. I prefer the more discreet ear buds when people are looking at me, even if they don't have as good of sound. They are pretty durable. The cords look nice and thick like they won't easily get a short in them. The headpiece is thin but strong and takes some abuse without breaking. They adjust easily to fit my husband's larger head and my son's smaller head.

These are great headphones that I use for a lot of different purposes.  From music to gaming they give great response and do a lot to eliminate outside noise to keep you wrapped in sound.  Very comfortable to wear for extended gaming sessions or for walks around town, these could easily be a mainstay of any plane flight or train commute.  My only complaint about these headphones is the price.  For the same price as this set of bose headphones you can get another pair with a few more bells and whistles and the same quality of sound playback.  Really what you're getting for most of your money here is the name and logo.  But if you're looking for something that's going to last, and you don't need those extra features, you could do far worse than these. Of course, with any kind of sound product the end result is only as good as the sound source its playing.  So if you plan on plunking down the money on these or any other high priced audio equipment make sure that your player is up to snuff too.

I received these as a requested Christmas gift two years ago. They are very comfortable to wear, light weight and music sounds great through them. A few months ago I noticed they stated to fall apart around the ear piece area, little black specs would be on me everytime I would wear them. The headphones themselves still worked fine, I would just have black dots on me after wearing them. Then last month they stopped working in one of the ear pieces. I noticed one of the wires has come loose. It was a nice two years while, they lasted. I used them often and I really enjoyed the extra long cord it comes with. The headband is very comfortable and adjusts well. All in all I'll probably buy another pair down the road, like I said even just getting two years out of them was nice.

I received these from a friend and love these! They are my first pair of Bose headphones. THe sound quality is great and I love the noise cancelling feature. Of course, you can still hear some noise from outside the headphones, but it's pretty hard to hear that unless they're talking extremely loud. I love the bass too from the headphones. And if you listen to loud music, people can't hear it from outside, which I love. They're also really lightweight and nice for carrying around. I feel I can definitely enjoy my music listening experience 100 times more now with the Bose Headphones.They are pretty expensive, so I might not have bought them myself. They do break easily and I had to replace the foam inside. Overall, I'm happy with it!

My quest for the perfect pair of headphones has been a long, hard and grueling one. Previous to this I purchased some skull candy crap based soley off looks and popularity and instantly regretted it. The sound was tinny and lacked and real punch. After that I decided to buy a mid-range pair of sennheiser headphones, because they are typically seen as the holy grail of audio technoloy. These somehow had too *much* bass, and drowned out all other spectrums, creating a vastly distorted signal. I finally turned to Bose, whose selling point is normally great noise canceling and sound clarity, and I am glad I did. These are expensive compared to your average set of headphones, but are still on the low end of Bose's pricing, and yet they spared no expense in terms of sound quality. The levels are excellently balanced and everything comes through crystal clear, with all parts of the spectrum represented. The great seal ensures minimal sound leak, and does a good job of keeping the exterior noise out, even without the presence of a dedicated white noise filter. I am pleased with this set of headphones in every way possible, and if you can stomach the price, they are great for everyday or profesional use.

Let me just say that the negative stigma surrounding Bose's sound quality is nonsensical. A friend of mine who is a self-proclaimed audiophile was astonished by the sound of these cans once they had broken in. Just like any quality headphone, before breaking in it'll sound muffled as if there's a sock covering them. After breaking them in (roughly 100 hours of listening time) they sound fantastic. Because they're noise-cancelling, the presence produced by these Bose are amazing. These headphones can take some serious abuse when overdriven with bass, the midrange sounds warm, and the higher frequency sounds crisp and not shrill. I currently use Grado SR225s and although they're great cans, because they're open-backs, they lack the presence that these Bose's give. Despite the awesome tonal character of these cans, I would not recommend them because they're very sensitive. I had them for maybe 2 years before the headband connecting to the earphones began to crack, and now they're useless. I tried salvaging them by using super glue over and over, but I finally gave up and just bought Grados to replace them.

The Bose 41213 are very comfortable and lightweight headphones.  the sound quality is very Good and sounds very clear.  I listen to nature sounds when I go to bed and it helps me get a peaceful sleep.  Compared to a lot of other brands that I've tried I found theses some of the best that I've personally used.  I liked the quality so much I bought 4 family members a pair.  I've gotten nothing but thank you on how the sound.  2 of the family members use them while bike riding and excersing.  The other 2 play back music that they creat themselves. Great price and perfect Very satisfied. I bought my bose 41213 online at a very good price.  I'm wanting to send somemore out to more friends and family so that they can have the same experience that i'm getting.  I have a friend of mine that loves them he uses his for colleage speaches when he records his teachers classes and tutorals.  I would suggest this to anybody that enjoys music with good quality sound and confortable and light weight.  if you don't have a pair get some.

I got these headphones for christmas last year and i loved them when i first had them.  I wore them every basketball game and took very good care of them. one time thought they were in my bag and the part connecting the headphone to the u thing broke and it can be kind of fragile (must be italian haha give yourself a pat on the back for people who get that).  The sound quality is freaking amazing i love songs that have a lot of bass becasue these headphones just bring out the best when it comes to that. Another down fall that i had was that exactly one year later (christmas 2010) i was listening to them and i noticed that the wire at the plug in was coming apart and you could see the wire under the plastic covering. I will have to get that fixed or maybe a little glue will do the trick but they seem like they are falling apart pretty easily and i take vary good care of my stuff and especially good care of expensive things.

I use these headphones everyday and they're so comfortable I can wear them for hours on end with no discomforts. The sound quality is flawless you can hear every beat and one thing that I really like is the bass isnt overwhelming. I've had many different headphones and I use theses the most out of any of them! It's worth the money and I would recommend buying them!

The quality of the head phones is the best; I was using them alot because we were in the process of house renovations and there was alot of noise going on and the headphones were great and making it more tolerable and allowed me to play my music and hear it at a normal level and tune out the commotion around me.  Even though they are not noise-cancelling headphones they work great at reducing irratating noises.  The design of the headphones are very sleek looking and the top notch quality make thees headphones worth the price.  They will plug into any jack and last for years.
