Did not work for me at all. It made skin matters worse. It didn't brighten or clarify or make any noticeable difference to my skin. I broke out with this product and went back to my old tried and true cleansing routine. I feel it also has an unpleasant odor.

I was excited to try this product after receiving a sample of it from Sephora. Boscia skin care line is one that tends to work well for my sensitive, acne prone, dry skin. This gel seemed perfect for the first two days of use as it was lightweight, soaked in quickly, seemed to hydrate my skin without leaving an oily residue and was interesting to apply as it is actually black in colour but dries clear. However, on the third day I noticed I was breaking out more so stopped its use. I tried it a few weeks later to see if my breakout had been product related or just the cause of fluctuating monthly hormones. I ended up breaking out once again after some use so have stopped using it. This product seemed so promising. Perhaps it would work better on other people's skin and there was just a certain ingredient that irritated mine. Effectiveness lightweight, felt good but didn't help--caused breakout. Ease of Application goes on smoothly, dries quickly. Scent scent free!

I started using this not too long ago. Overall I like how it makes my skin look and feel after I apply it. I don't know if it's worth the price. I have sensitive skin that sometimes reacts after a month of using a product but so far so good with this moisturizer. After I put it on my skin tingles a bit which freaked my out a little at first but it went away after a few seconds. I thought when I felt that I would have a allergic reaction shortly after but it has not happened. I'm going to keep using it and see what happens. Effectiveness I think it makes my skin look great after I use it. My skin looks brighter and feels softer. It's very hard for me to find a lotion that makes my skin feel this soft. Ease of Application It's black which was strange but it's rubs in very easily and you would never know. It is not greasy at all. Some lotions make my skin fe very greasy but this one does not at all. Scent The smell is ok. I like that it doesn't have a perfume-y smell though.

Surprisingly nice and refreshing gel that moisturized my face and made it tingle at the same time. I was hesitant about using it at first, but I took the plunge and was pleasantly surprised by this product. Don't be put off by the black color of the gel because it absorbs into your skin without any residue left on your face. Effectiveness It leaves my face feeling moisturized and refreshed at the same time. Ease of Application Just an easy pump and the gel is released. It applies very easily into my skin, and it also absorbs really fast. A little bit goes a long way. Scent This gel has very little scent, which is ok with me.

I wanted to love Boscia Revitalizing Blac Hydration Gel, but just couldn't. I've been on the hunt for a moisturizer that will not break out my highly senstive, acne prone, aging face. I've purchased, sampled and researched so many different products at so many price points; I have yet to really find a great moisturizer that will deliver what it claims - Boscia Black Hydration Gel is no different. Effectiveness It seems to moisturize well, but my skin broken out so badly and each and everytime that I used it, despite it being a great natural product. Ease of Application This goes on like a clear/black gel and absorbs wonderfully. The pump is unique: you take off the top cap and give the top of the container a push and out comes product. I love this because it keeps the rest of your moisturizer from becoming contaminated. Scent This had no real smell, which is great because I get headaches from overly scented products.
