I am a single mom of two, when I bought my first home on my own, I bought the Bosch 500 nexxt series front loader, great reviews, and the dealer highly recommended it. I thought great, "I won't have to worry about purchasing another washer again for a while, wonderful energy saver". Almost to the date that my warranty ran out I have had nothing but problems, the rubber liner ripped...flooding my laundry room, and now the door is cracked along the inside edge down the front, it's not cracked in a place where I could have it on something,it is right along where the door hinges are, plus the washer is placed where if I open the door its not going to hit anything. BOSCH was NOT helpful at all..not in anyway, the person I was communicating with after many e-mails said he would refer my complaint to someone else....I never heard from them again. What a nightmare!! If you don't have the money to make many purchases or repairs I would not recommend this washer. The cycles take forever to wash a load of laundry, I don't feel my clothes are the cleanest. The only plus I can think of ...it does save on water. When I purchased the washer and front load dryer...I was told of substantial rebates, After closing on my house...my appliances weren't in....they were delivered after the rebates expired. Again Bosch said there was nothing they could do. My dark wood work was chipped substantially @ 1 inch by 5 inch piece of wood out of the woodwork...The dealer didn't reply....nor did Bosch to my complaint. The dryer also takes FOREVER to dry laundry...and the clothes just do not get completely dried. The best advice you can get on this washer (and dryer)....DO NOT PURCHASE, like I said I heard wonderful reviews from the dealer and on-line, my biggest regret ever. Also..very loud operation (which I was made aware of at the time of purchase)
