Bosch Nexxt Washer - 300  —

My Bosch nexxt 300 was replaced 2 weeks after I purchased it due to the machine walking across the floor during spin cycle.Lowes stated it had a warped drum. The next machine worked ok for about 6 weeks, then the machine started making sounds & didn't spin correctely, Lowes replaced the drum. I have had the machine a year & it sounds like it is blasting off each rinse cycle. Clothes are tied in knots, shirt sleeves, legs of trousers, sheets etc.  I have tried small loads, medium loads & large loads and the machine is so loud during spin cycle we have to turn the TV off because we can't hear. The machine does get the clothes clean, but the cycle takes 11/2 hour to complete. There is water left inside the door which gets stale if you don't prop the door open. I would not recommend this machine.

BrendaHeath's experience after purchasing the Bosch washer is regrettable. But I think that there is a misconception of how front loader work. I am European and we are used to them since the 60s. 1) Water sits in the rubberband of the window and has to be removed/dried after usage. 2) That the cylces take long is due to the more sophisticated technology. IT never came into my mind that washer could not take over an hour until I got to the US. Then I realized that front loader just use a huge amount of water flushing through -but my clothes were not very clean and suffered a lot from that awful "spiral stick". The top loader technology is far ahead and more sophisticated.
