BrendaHeath's experience after purchasing the Bosch washer is regrettable. But I think that there is a misconception of how front loader work. I am European and we are used to them since the 60s. 1) Water sits in the rubberband of the window and has to be removed/dried after usage. 2) That the cylces take long is due to the more sophisticated technology. IT never came into my mind that washer could not take over an hour until I got to the US. Then I realized that front loader just use a huge amount of water flushing through -but my clothes were not very clean and suffered a lot from that awful "spiral stick". The top loader technology is far ahead and more sophisticated.
