Bosch Nexxt 800 Series Washing Machine Review

When I purchased my Bosch Nexxt 800 series washer I never expected problems.  When we were loading it onto our truck, we found that two of the four leveling legs were damaged.  Lowe's told us to contact the customer service that has the extended warranty that we purchased with it.

That customer service directly connected us to Bosch Customer Service.  Bosch wanted us to fax the receipt to them and a service call would be made.

We already had the unit registed right after getting it home on the Bosch website, but that didn't matter.

We said that we are handy enough to screw in and remove the two legs ourselves, so Bosch Customer Service said that we could then pay $4 each leg.  We declined.

We then called back to Lowe's which found legs to replace our damaged ones at no charge.

Bosch replied to our email complaint about the customer service and they said "If the washer did not come in a box, they would not cover the warranty."

So be aware if you are planning on buying a Bosch Washer, you better buy one in a box.

The washer does a fine job of washing and is quiet.

But if I would have known beforehand about the Bosch Customer Service, I would not have bought a Bosch.
