I have owned this mixer for over 7 years. I make bread, rolls, cookies, muffins, and pie crust dough on a weekly basis. The motor is strong enough for all of the above and has never smoked or smelled funny. Mixing Performance Strong mixer - makes the preparation of bread and pie crust dough incredibly easy. I use the dough hook for most items. Ease of Cleaning Has a removable guard at the top of the beaters so that dough does not work itself up into the mixer. Hooks and whisks fit in easily with no tricky holes or notches to line up. Ease of Use This is an extremely lightweight model. I can easily transport it with one hand. Design The only drawback of this mixer is the plastic bowl.A stainless steel or glass bowl would make this model much more versatile for things such as whipping meringue or beating cream. Durability Owned for over seven years with no lessening in power of motor. Nothing has broken in that time. This mixer has been used almost daily for over seven years.
