This dishwasher was selected for my brand new home by my husband who said it was suppose to be top of the line. Within 2 months it broke down, got a tech, supposedly fixed it, a few weeks later it broke again. This dishwasher was broken down during Thanksgiving, and when I  had buyers coming to look at my home. The top piece of plastic covering the buttons, I cannot stress how cheap it was, kept coming off and we would try to pop it back on but it wouldn't stay. It ended up catching on fire and we had to disconnect it from the back.

Bosh is top of the line when it comes to dishwashers. I build custom homes for a living and there are no other dishwashers that compare to the quality of Bosh. Now they do have their cheaper models for lower budgets but spend the extra 200-300 for the best and it will last you a life time.

This model came with our house, and unlike some of the things that came with the house, I love it.  It works like a charm and gets my dishes really clean without using much soap.  I like that it's built in.  People are always asking me where the dish washer is because it fits into the kitchen decor so seamlessly.  The racks are perfectly spaced for my dishes, and I've never had any problems with containers or light cups flying around and breaking.  As long as you remember to keep the rinse agent filled (it's easy to do with a light), then you will always come up with perfect, clean dishes, no matter how dirty they were to begin with.  This one is also friendlier on the environment, which makes me feel good, but it does mean that the dishes need to dry a bit before you can put them away.  Opening up the door means that a lot of steam comes out, and there's no extra dry function that you can press to stop that.  Still, it's not a hassle and it's definitely worth the lower energy costs.

The Bosch SHE5AL05UC Dishwasher is easy to use. Unlike other dishwashers the Bosch SHE5AL05UC Dishwasher has a large capacity and intuitive places to put things. I have used dishwashers that have little places to put bowls and sometimes the bowls do not get completely clean, but the Bosch SHE5AL05UC Dishwasher has enough room inbetween the bowls so that they always come out clean! The rack for the plates is big and the Bosch SHE5AL05UC Dishwasher has a big upper rack as well. I would say that the best feature is the controls on top of the door. With small grandchilden around, they are very curious and buttons and dials taht can be reached, will. But because the controls are on top of the door, they can not be seen by anyone! Also the Bosch SHE5AL05UC Dishwasher can hold pots and pans as well. A bad point is the utensil holder. The holes in it are a little too bug and knives and forks sometimes go down too far and end up getting bent sometimes. But that is the only bad thing I can think of. I would highly recommend this to my friends.
