Bosch 5000 series washer —

My first washer was a Kitchenaid.  I enjoyed using it for 15 years.  I was excited to get the newer frontloading hi efficiency Bosch product and am now totally fed up with it.  I truly want to buy a new washer and dryer since I feel that this brand is the worst!!

Fist of all you can not do a quick load of clothes on this washer. It will recalculate the time needed and may take an extra hour or so if you decide you really need to fill up the drum.  I had expected to be able to do more clothes and in essence I am doing less wash taking more time.  The latest problem is washing flannels and fleece.  If you try to wash it on a shorter cycle ofr delicate it will come out sopping wet!!  tHE HIGH REVS MAKE THE CLOTHES VERY TANGLED AND A TRUE MESS TO TAKE OUT.

I have the machine on the second floor and in doing reasearch they said this is very quiet.  It is quiet however when the wahser spins the whole house shakes.  I have tried using shake away pads but it really hasn't helped much.  And the appliance store also charge me an extra 50 dollars for that too after spending almost 2000 on these products.

My cowrker likes her Duet and I probably should have gone with that but instead I thought that these produts had a high rating .  I did my research with consumer reports which I trusted but you never really know until you have tried the product.  I thought the hi eff on the washer and dryer would cut down on drying time, I have found that it takes even longer with this Bosch dryer.  SOmetimes an hour to dry.  LIke I have said I really would like to find a new washer and dryer!!!
