I love the BornFree Bisphenol-A Free Plastic Baby Bottles. I like having peace of mind that the plastic is not leaching harmful chemicals when I am heating milk in the bottle or washing it in hot water. I like the shape (wide neck) and style of this bottle. I exclusively breastfed and my son didn't have any problems taking pumped milk from these bottles. Milk was easy to heat in the bottles, just popped it into a cup of hot water for a few minutes. Milk did not leak with the cap on, which I know is a problem for a lot of bottles out there! The cons for this bottle is that there are a LOT of pieces to wash - I preferred to handwash my bottles and pieces as opposed to putting them in the dishwasher so this was pretty time consuming. The bottles are also pretty expensive. I didn't mind paying that much for the bottles, because I wanted a BPA-Free bottle. At the time (a little over a year ago) there weren't many BPA-Free choices. Now there are more, so perhaps I would consider a cheaper brand that makes BPA-Free bottles if were buying tem now. However, they have held up great and are durable - not sure if they other BPA-free bottles by other brands are as durable. I do wish they would make the nipples cheaper though - they are way more expensive brands! Overall I have really liked these bottles and I would recommend them because they worked great for us!
