This is an exraordinary and compelling look into the mind and life of an autistic savant .Daniel is also a synesthete. Synethesia is considered a medical condition by some, a gift by others. An example of synesthesia is one who see numbers as colors, as Daniel does.

This is a story about a boy with high functioning autism, and his struggle to fit in and create an ordinary life for himself. I believe that he has done that and more. Blue days takes you through a difficult and sometimes traumatic childhood through an amazing adolesence and to his extraordinary life today.
