Borba Silk Fiber Orbital Eye Rejuvenator —

I already have an eye cream that I love - MyChelle Fabulous Eye Cream, but I received a sample of Borba Silk Fiber Orbital Eye Rejuvenator with one of my recent online orders, so I decided to give it a try.

The packaging claims that in 14 days, 53% of clinical respondents "reported improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles".  I have been using this product for two weeks now and notice a very subtle improvement.  I'm 30, so I only have a couple of fine wrinkles under my eye area, so it was hard to see if this made a real improvement, but I can say that I love this eye cream!

Borba Silk Fiber Orbital Eye Rejuvenator has a perfect consistency.  It's not too thick or too thin.  It really moisturizes my eye area wonderfully and makes applying concealer to the dark spots under my eyes very easy - no tugging or pulling.  It is made with great ingredients like: apricot kernel oil, shea butter, algae extract, aloe juice, and it is petroleum and paraben-free.  It is pretty expensive, but a little goes a really long way, so it definitely pays for itself in the long run.  I would recommend this product to any woman who loves a good eye cream with a great texture and great ingredients.

NOTE: the reviewer indicated that they received a sample of Borba Silk Fiber Orbital Eye Rejuvenator

Thank you, great information on the paraben preservative, I will be sure to look for it in other products that I use in general or not use anymore. There is so much good and bad out there in our enviroment its hard to keep up with them. But here's to the good ones.

I think it is really a DARK movie which could be depressing if you took it too seriously, which some people tend to do with scary movies. I really enjoy a scary movie now and then though, especially at this time of year.

I also enjoyed this movie because it was filmed in a beautiful house which was a feast for the eye.

Actually, I do. I figure that if I have people on my Friends list the least I could do is pop in and read their reviews even if they don't seem relevant to my consumer needs or personal lifestyle. Otherwise, why bother being a fan of a reviewer if I am not going to read, rate or comment?

My friend said that it is now one of his favorite movies, but he for some reason, didn't think I would like it. Now, I want to see it!

Yes, it was beautifully filmed and VERY scary. Perfect for watching in the dark. It had an unnerving ending that surprised even me.

I'm shivering here! Thank God for my SNUGGIE!

Take care, I think I'm going to have hot cereal for breakfast this morning!

I'm glad that helped! I only began to understand these things when I worked at Whole Foods Market. Luckily, my interest in natural products remained after I left the company.

Speaking of The Orphan, my friend just told me that it was a VERY good movie, but I haven't even seen a preview of it. Did you like it?

What a great explanation. You seem to know a lot about these things. I hope you had a nice day. My friends and I ate at Texas Roadhouse, stopped at the sara Lee outlet store and Starbucks and then watched "The Orphan" at her house in the dark!

A good time was had by all, and I still have leftovers to warm up for dinner tonight!

Bye bye and catch ya later!

In response to AnnaBanana's comment from Oct 31, 2009 at 5:58PM:

A paraben is a preservative. Any body care product that contains water needs to have a preservative so that it can have a long shelf life and not go rancid. There are many kinds of preservatives, some are all natural like grapefruit seed extract. Parabens are thought to be bad because in some case studies, parabens have mimicked hormones in your body. Ultimately, they believe parabens can cause cancer when absorbed into your body over a long period of time. On a product ingredient list, they have many names: methylparaben, butylparaben, etc...I try to stay away from them because your body can absorb up to 60-80% of what you apply to it. Hope that answers your question and didn't inundate you with needless information :)

AnnaBanana wrote on Oct 31, 2009 at 5:58PM

Someday you'll have to tell me what in the heck a PARABEN is!
