Boppy Pillow Review Summary

The majority of new moms appreciate the durability and versatility of the Boppy Pillow. Mom reviewer Jcouch used hers for two children and six years. Another parent couldn’t live without hers, ” It can be used for several different things,” from breast feeding, supporting tired arms from hours of holding baby and helping to support while learning to sit. Another mom says, “I may need to buy a new one because I cant imagine trying to feed my son without the support.” Boppy Pillows make difficult tasks that much easier for new and experienced moms. My daughter recently had her baby, and her tubes tide. I bought her the Boppy Pillow because she had some stitches come out, and using this pillow took the weight of the baby off her stomach, as well as relieving her from holding the baby while breastfeeding, or a safe place to lay the baby when mom's... review »

Most women and stores offer the boppy as a nursing solution, but this wonderful asset is more than just that:

For the Pregnancy

I can't begin to tell you how agonizing my last pregnancy was just two years ago. By 7 months I was already in severe pain thanks to a pinched nerve. My daughter decided it...

My Boppy pillow has gotten a lot of use with my two children.  They are great when the babies are little because it helps support them while I'm nursing.  This helps reduce back pain a lot.  They are flexible so they fit around any sized person and work well in the rocking chair.

As the baby grows and is learning to sit the Boppy works great as a support pillow to put around the baby.  When they fall over the pillow is there to break the fall!

I also love that you can change the covers.  This was great since my first was a boy and second was a girl.  The covers are also a great way...

When I started to register for my baby shower I knew the Bobby was one product I must get.  I think this is such a multi-use product I don't know what I would have done with out it.  I did use this for breastfeeding but actually not as much as for other things.  My daughter is now sixteen months and we still use it almost everyday.  I think this is one of the best pillows to support my back as my daughter and I are sitting and reading before bed.  My daughter still uses her Boppy to lay on as well as for all her baby dolls to lay on.  I love that they now have removable covers and come in... review »

The boppy was one product that I did not know about when I had my first child and came to be the thing that I used most often and am still using to this day with my second 8 month old daughter!  It saves your back while breasfeeding and can be used to prop your child up when they are learning to sit and I think it is quite comfortable pillow to use for yourself!

I used my boppy pillow at first for feeding.  It was helpful but I know I could have just used a regular pillow.  I didn't use it for long and I think I could have done without it so I don't think it was worth all of that money.

I did not put a Boppy on my baby registry because I didn't think it was necessary. Then a friend of mine who's baby is already a couple of years old gave me one that she didn't really use, it was new with packaging. Of course I didn't hesitate to take it, I am gald I did!

Obviously it is great for breastfeeding, I find it much more comfortable than a pillow because it isn't mushy soft and it lets you bring the baby very close. Since my baby has reflux, the pillow makes it a lot easier to feed her a bit at a diagonal without straining my arms. When I am on the bed with my feet up I use the pillow...

I got the bobby pillow as a baby shower gift. I didn't have one with my first daughter, but thought I would try it now. I can't believe I didn't have this earlier. At first I thought I would use it exclussively for nursing, but was incredibly surprised to see how much the Boppy Pillow would come in handy!

My 10 year old daughter likes to use it when she is holding her little sister. My husband likes to use when he is cuddling with my daughter on the couch. It works great for both husband and daughter if they are giving the baby a bottle.

I love to use the Boppy Pillow for a safe place to set her...

I have 2 children, my oldest being 3 years old.  She had a very hard time nursing and getting the correct positioning.  The boppy pillow helped out so much, because as big a baby as she was, I could get her positioned so that I was comfortable and she was comfortable (did I mention she also had a broken collarbone, so this pillow helped take a LOT of pressure of her shoulder).  My youngest had to use the boppy when she was having trouble breathing at night due to Acid Reflux.  The doctor suggested putting her on an incline but I couldn't go out and purchase more baby stuff...we were on a limited...

The boppy pillow is the best purchase I have ever made when it come to baby products.  A friend of mine suggested it and I was not sure wether I would actually use it or not, but I am so glad I purchased it.  I nursed all three of my children and the boppy pillow is the most comfortable way to nurse.  I do not have to struggle putting pillows under my elbows or anything like that, the boppy takes care of everything.  It is also great to put your child in as a seat.  It is also great for tummy time.  You can get different covers for it so if it gets dirty you can just change the cover and...

I used the Boppy Nursing Pillow for two of my three children.  It was very soft and helpful for nursing but not very supportive.  It would often slide off of my lap while I was nursing the baby.  I often had to reposition the baby while he was latched on and that made it difficult to nurse.  The pillow isn't very thick so I still has to lift the baby up to reach my breast and the pillow was a bit obsolete in that respect.  I did not nurse very long but I kept the pillow for my baby to lay on.  When he finished eating I would lay him on the floor on his back and propped his head and shoulders...

As a mother of four children there are many things I have spent money on and regretted. This is not one of them. In fact, when I had my first two children the boppy wasn't on the market yet. With my third, I decided to do without. I finally paid the price for the Boppy for my fourth and I don't regret it one bit. It has made breast feeding SO much easier. My baby is comfortable, and so am I. No more stressed sholder muscles or squishing up pillows. The Boppy is the perfect height and shape. When my baby was an infant I did wish the Boppy was a bit plumper to get baby up to a higher height, but...

I got my Boppy pillow at one of my baby showers. I had planned on breastfeeding and stuck it on my registery.

I started using my Boppy the minute we got home. I actually kind of wish that we had brought it to the hospital with us.

It was great in those early days. I would nurse my baby and often she would fall asleep on my lap after nursing. It was also great for her to lay on in the bed or on the chair/couch before she started really moving. It was the perfect size for her.

Now that she's 10 months old, we are still using the Boppy! And she still sometimes falls asleep on my lap using the Boppy....

I just recently gave birth for the first time. As a new mom I wanted to do what was best for my baby and thought that one way I could accomplish that was to breastfeed my baby. The first week or so was somewhat of a challenge when it came to feeding him. I have a bad back so trying to find a comfortable position and having my son in the right position didn't really mix very well. My sister saw my troubles and as a mother of three suggested I try the Boppy Pillow. It changed things drastically. The pillow goes around your stomach and gets your baby higher so that it is easier to feed him. It kept...

I can not stop raving about my Boppy to all my friends. I am one of the first to have a baby but some others are pregnant right now. I carried a big (9lbs14oz) baby and at the end my hips and back hurst so bad. I took the boppy with me all over the house to sit on. It relieved a lot of my tailbone pain. I had it with me in the hospital. It made the first few days of breastfeeding so much easier. I dodn't realize how many hours a day would be spent with my baby in that position! Even if you are formula feeding, wearing the boppy around your waist while feeding your baby is a real arm saver. Also,...
