Pros

can make bottle feeding easier, better than a regular pillow, can be used for assisted sitting, can be used for tummy time, useful baby prop, can make nursing easier, machine washable, wide range of slipcovers

Most of the slipcovers are unattractive

The Boppy is one of the best things that ever happened to me as a breast-feeding mom. With my first child I did not have one because they just seemed to expensive and bulky. However, with my second I decided that I would have one no matter the cost. I have never been happier with a baby product. It was everything that it claimed to be and more. It is not only useful for breastfeeding, but for propping the baby up. It is also useful for propping up babies who are bottle feeding. It is also firm enough that I did not have to worry about suffocation like I would with an ordinary pillow. My kids still like to use them to lay on while they are reading books. They are also great to for traveling. I would recommend a couple of sturdy pillow covers. (You can make your own.) They are overpriced, but many times they can be found in lots or purchased used. I would definitely give the Boppy a five star.
