I am a new mother of a 5 week old wonderful baby girl. I'm also a mother of a 16, 17 and 18 year old. They didn't have these when my other children were born and somehow I surviced but the Bobby makes things so much easier. My new daughter lays in it on her back to look around and we can easily play with her. She lays in it on her stomach and has been lifting her head since she was a week old. It's great excercise for the neck. It's also perfect to wrap around you when you are holding her to help you arms to not get tired and keeps your hands free. I would reccomend this to any new mother.
