Boondock Saints Review Summary
"The Boondock Saints is the real deal in action movies," with reviewers thinking it's the "best out-of-sequence action movie since Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs." Two brothers of Irish descent "feel that God speaks to them, and when the Russian Mafia moves into their neighborhood," the brothers attempt to wipe out the good. Plot: Two south Boston, Irish brothers believe God speaks to them. when the Russian move moves in to their Irish neighborhood the brothers believe they should wipe out evil to let good flourish.

I have never been completely turned off by, or overly critical of violence in movies. As long as it is germane to the story and used as an emphatic device – and if the MPAA has rated it properly – violence can become an important aspect of storytelling. Many people point to Pulp Fiction as the bloody precedent that was violated to lead us to where we are today in terms of on screen violence. By today's standards, Pulp Fiction could be considered a rather benign representative, but if it is accurately designated as the birth giver to on screen violence, then The Boondock Saints is the testosterone...

William Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Della Rocco, Billy Connolly. The Boondock Saints is excellant! Thou shalt not kill...the one commandment these two brothers cannot keep. When the sadistic Russian mob starts muscling in on their South Boston Irish neighborhood, Connor and Murphy Mcmanus know what must be done. Feeling that the vengeance of god is flowing through their veins, they set out to rid the streets of gangsters, criminals and lowlifes. As the body count rises the brothers become local heroes. Now, one unorthodox FBI agent must be cunning enough to bring them down....

Tries WAY to hard to be Tartantino on a budget....

Boondock Saints Is a unexpected movie treat.It has All The element of a great movie, well defined character. A Easy to follow story plus a good pace.
This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. This is one that I can watch over and over again.
