I am a huge Nora Roberts fan and I was just wondering if anyone else likes her books as well. I have her whole collection so far and I love the fact that she writes alot of trilogies as well.

I just finished the Signs of the Seven Trilogy a couple of months ago and I must say, they were excellent and kept me wanting for more.

I see her on the best seller shelves all the time, but have never read anything by her yet. What's a good one to start with?

I love Nora Roberts, I don't have a lot of her books (comparatively - she has like 300)  I have read and reviewed quite a few here on viewpoints, but I still have so many to go.  I always look forward to them.  Have you read and/or watched the set of movies based on her books.  I have heard that High Noon was the best adaptation, but haven't seen them all yet (I would like to eventually).

onwaytozion - "What's a good one to start with?" - that all depends on if you prefer contemporary romance, paranormal romance, stand alone, trilogy, hot and heavy, soft romance, suspense (which she has a whole 'In Death' series under the name of JD Robb for that one).  She writes such a broad range of genres that it really does depend on the type of book you prefer.

I like them all (out of the ones that I have read). Stand alone:  High Noon, Paranormal Romance (vampires) trilogy:  Circle trilogy (Moragan's Cross, Dance of the Gods, Valley of Silence), Supernatural Romance (ghosts) trilogy:  In the Garden (Blue Dahlia, Black Rose, Red Lily), Contemporary romance series:  O'Hurley's (Last Honest Women, Dance to the Piper, Skin Deep, Without a Trace).  She also does a ton of anthologies, My favorite is a paranormal (werewolves) called Moon Shadows.  I know I put a lot in here, but I really like to promote authors that I love to read to other readers, so for making it so long.  If you want, I did write reviews for the majority of these books, and others by Nora Roberts (most of my reviews her on viewpoints are on books).

Again, sorry it is so long.

I am a huge Nora Roberts fan. I have read a long list of her books. My favorite books are her trilogies, because I know once I am done with book one I have 2 more to look forward to.

As far as to which book to start reading, I agree with onyx95, it all depends on your preference. But if you do decide to start a trilogy book, always make sure to read them in order.

I would love to see a Nora Roberts trilogy be made into a movie. I would definately see it.

I love her books also and she is one of my favorite authors. I just finished a while ago, Black Hills and Vision in White. I loved both of them and I am always looking forward to her books when they come out. I can't wait for the next book in the series The Bride Quartet, which is Bed of Roses. I have read almost everything that she has ever written.

I enjoy her books as well as watching the mini-series the make from them much of them very close to the story line. :) I have started getting better about keeping books though, LOL. I am now either gifting forward or reselling on half.  I couldn't believe how many books in general I had amassed. LOL. :)
