I love Nora Roberts, I don't have a lot of her books (comparatively - she has like 300) I have read and reviewed quite a few here on viewpoints, but I still have so many to go. I always look forward to them. Have you read and/or watched the set of movies based on her books. I have heard that High Noon was the best adaptation, but haven't seen them all yet (I would like to eventually).
onwaytozion - "What's a good one to start with?" - that all depends on if you prefer contemporary romance, paranormal romance, stand alone, trilogy, hot and heavy, soft romance, suspense (which she has a whole 'In Death' series under the name of JD Robb for that one). She writes such a broad range of genres that it really does depend on the type of book you prefer.
I like them all (out of the ones that I have read). Stand alone: High Noon, Paranormal Romance (vampires) trilogy: Circle trilogy (Moragan's Cross, Dance of the Gods, Valley of Silence), Supernatural Romance (ghosts) trilogy: In the Garden (Blue Dahlia, Black Rose, Red Lily), Contemporary romance series: O'Hurley's (Last Honest Women, Dance to the Piper, Skin Deep, Without a Trace). She also does a ton of anthologies, My favorite is a paranormal (werewolves) called Moon Shadows. I know I put a lot in here, but I really like to promote authors that I love to read to other readers, so for making it so long. If you want, I did write reviews for the majority of these books, and others by Nora Roberts (most of my reviews her on viewpoints are on books).
Again, sorry it is so long.
