Do you ever buy check-out magazines at the grocery store?

Ah, I did it again... bought another magazine when I went grocery shopping. You know the ones, at the check-out stands. Family Circle, Women's Day... celeb gossip rags... and the tabloids. What do you think of them?

Hmmm... I guess that nobody else wants to admit looking at them.

I understand. But how else would we know what the Bat Boy was up to?

For the record, I bought a Woman's World, not a tabloid.

I flip through them, but I don't think I have bought one of those on impulse. Once I bought a booklet of recipes for Slow Cookers that was strategically placed. I don't think that counts. It's kind of boring, that.

No, I never buy them. I already get about 40 different magazines delivered to my home. I don't think I need any more.

When at the checkouts I usually read the headlines from the tabloids and look at the pictures on the covers of magazines similar to Family Circle. When I see pictures of recipe's, decorating, or crafts that I like, or find article titles I think I will read, I look up the current issue of the magazine on-line after returning home.

I almost never purchase a magazine at the newstand price.  But my daughter has talked me into a few purchases for her.

I just recently bought ALL YOU from Walmart. I do not usually get magizines because they just end up sitting all over the house

Other than TV Guide before subscibing?  No, not really.  Most of the magazines you name aren't ones I'd read willingly, and I'm so not into tabloids.....

I did, from time to time, have to buy copies of Time magazine when the Postal Service lost my issues.  Does that count?
