Ah, I did it again... bought another magazine when I went grocery shopping. You know the ones, at the check-out stands. Family Circle, Women's Day... celeb gossip rags... and the tabloids. What do you think of them?
I flip through them, but I don't think I have bought one of those on impulse. Once I bought a booklet of recipes for Slow Cookers that was strategically placed. I don't think that counts. It's kind of boring, that.
When at the checkouts I usually read the headlines from the tabloids and look at the pictures on the covers of magazines similar to Family Circle. When I see pictures of recipe's, decorating, or crafts that I like, or find article titles I think I will read, I look up the current issue of the magazine on-line after returning home.

Other than TV Guide before subscibing? No, not really. Most of the magazines you name aren't ones I'd read willingly, and I'm so not into tabloids.....
I did, from time to time, have to buy copies of Time magazine when the Postal Service lost my issues. Does that count?
