So, I wrote a novel.
The long version of that sentence is about a year ago I started working on a novel project with the intention of self publishing it on lulu.com. For various reasons the project never went anywhere and was put onto the back burner. About a month ago I went through a pretty major disaster and with work now pretty scarce, I pulled out my novel again and finished the revisions. It's not a professional work of art, but I'm pleased enough with it that I am going to give it the self publication that I promised last year as kind of a winter fundraiser for myself.
Now that this is taken care of, I'd like to ask if there are any book reviewers around who would like to review it?
The novel in its current format is 186pgs and falls into the vampire genre. I would describe it as a mix of action, comedy and romance aimed at the early 20's audience.
Synopsis:
Vampires are real but they aren't anything like you've been told. Immortality is a story best left to children. Olivia is vampire who is about to be forced into the biggest decision of her life. Born with powers that rival that of any others, her clan wants her to undergo her their rite of passage in order to awaken the powers within her an entire three years early. Known for causing great pain and physical distress within the females of the race, Olivia is less than thrilled at the idea.
There are others within her clan that want to see her powers awakened for their own selfish reasons however; any male who acts as the conduit for her powers will instantly get a share of her powers for themselves. To take on her powers would put them into a position to take complete control of the clan and that is something that others would do anything for... even kill.
Now fighting for her life, Olivia is in a race for her life as threats come from inside and out. With only her childhood friend Lucian and a human named Seth as allies, Olivia is running out of time.

Good to see you back around these parts and Yay on the book. I would take you up but that's sooo not my genre of reading. Shoot an e-mail to Meredith and Jolie and I bet they can help hook you up with a few that would be willing to review it.
