Books-A-Million was an impressive treat when the community had nothing more than a cramped, mall-based bookstore. Shopping online is the better alternative for this store. Great selection and free shipping on minimal orders has made this a go-to site. The stores sometimes don't have enough staff and are not always the best in service, but they are knowledgeable and give much more personal service than Barnes and Noble. Their Joe Muggs cafes serve great coffee products and food items, which are less pricey than the competition. Online savings can't be beat by anyone and the shipping is very quick, usually within a few days. Having their discount card really pays off and is very reasonable for the... read full review »

Books A MIllion is the place I go whenver I leave home. The stores I have visited have always been clean, and the books pleasingly arranged. The first year I discovered BAM, I bought so many books that they sent me a gold card! I never have to renew my membership,and that's a fantastic plus!
BAM also has a coffee shop inside, called Joe Mugs. My husband and I have spent hours and hours sitting and sipping coffee there. The employees treat us like family, and they do their jobs wonderfully.
I would recommend BAM to everyone!
