I have a fairly large dog and I am always on the lookout for a durable toy that he will not be able to devour within five minutes.  I was at Petco and saw that they had different sized rope toys.  They looked pretty durable so I purchased the Booda Bone X-Large… read full review »

I've seen a lot of these rope toys and never bought one until recently.  When I got it home, the dogs absolutely loved it, so much they fought over it.  Within about an hour or so, it was pretty much destroyed. — It was messy, with strings being pulled out.  This could be a choking hazzard, so if your dog is a heavy chewer, this is not the toy for him/her.  Stick with more durable toys, they last longer, they're safe, and will save you money in the long run. —… read full review »

I have five dogs.  The youngest one, Buster, bristles with muscles and loves to tear things up.  He's very good about tearing up "appropriate things".  He knows a toy when he sees one.  I've purchased several different brands of this type of toy and all of them, except for the Booda Bone, have been destroyed by Buster within a very short time.  He can destroy the Booda Bone, it just takes him a while longer.  Picking up all the strings is a pain but if it isn't strings it's stuffing so I don't mind, he has such a good time destroying things!  He does seem… read full review »

We've been buying booda bones for our dog since she was a puppy. Used to be we had to get her a new one every few months, since she'd chew her way through them and we'd end up with what we termed "booda knots" (which we also chewed and loved and thrown around the house). Now that she's out of the teething stage, her booda bones last quite a bit longer. — These are great in-house toys. We don't have a fenced yard, and don't get to the dog park as often as we should, but have no problem throwing these around the house for our dog to fetch. They're relatively soft, so I don't worry about… read full review »

The Booda Bone, or any similar-style pull toy, is a great flosser for your dog. You can play tug of war with your dog, or if you have two dogs, they can pull each other. — Depending on the size of your dog, these pull toys may only last one month. Eventually, they fall apart and must be thrown out. The strings come apart from the pull toy and end up all over your house. — Also, be aware that if you have the type of dog who would love to chew on it, it probably should be taken away when you are not watching. My dog would swallow the strings (and you know where they would come… read full review »

It lasted for about 2 months before my dog Balto trashed it. Otherwise it is a great toy for a dog of any size. He had many of them and they all didn't last all that long. It was just something I decided to try after he had destroyed his basketball. I would recommend a pet owner to try it with any dog they have mine is a big cinnamon husy that likes to run away every now and then and he don't know his way home. But what do you want from a dog that is 14 years old and has a bad back end otherwise he is a great dog that gets along wiyh everyone wouldn't give him up for the world. — … read full review »

I have two American Pitt Bull Terriers, and they love to chew and play. I wanted some toys that would be durable and rugged, just like my dogs. This was recommended to me, so I thought I would give it a try. Wasted my money! It was gone within 24 hours of enetering my yard. They barely had a chance to enjoy it. Maybe if you have a smaller dog than mine, it could work. But if you have a large dog, go for a better brand. Don't get me wrong, my dogs did like the toy, while it lasted. The enxt one I try will definitely not be from this brand.… read full review »

I have three dogs and all three play with these more than any other toy.  I find it generates comradery and friendship between animals especially when you are introducing a new dog to the mix than anything else you can do.  — They are durable, strong and last a long time.  Yes, they do eventually, after a really long time of hard play sometimes come undone; however, any mess is well worth picking up due to the exercise and friendship they have generated … read full review »

My dog (Miniature Schnauzer) has had a couple of these.  He really likes them and gets attached to them but he works on pulling out all the little strings and you'll find them all over the floor and possibly in his stomach.  We stopped buying them for that reason.  We didn't want him to get sick!  My mom owns a miniature poodle and the same thing happened with his.  He worked away at pulling those darned strings off!  I guess it's bound to… read full review »

I love this toy and so does my german shep mix. But he does tear it up. If he has it near him or in his mouth .....watch out cause he will protect his toy at all costs lol His name is Shane. He has many toys but this one is his favorite. I buy them  when one wears out. I think that this is a wonderful toy for dogs because you can interact with your pet in a fun way. They love to play. My dog is like family. We adopted him from the SPCA when he was 6 weeks old.… read full review »

I purchased this toy for my pet a year or so ago and we have had many wonderful hours plying with it.  It has allowed s to bond on a very high level.  Every evening after the family is settled down, my dog gets this toy and we play tugofwar and keep away.  It gives him exercise that he would otherwise not get.  My dog is a small dog and this toy has been wonderful for him.  I guess that it is more appropriate for small pets than for large. —… read full review »

I have Pomeranians. They loved playing tug with it, but it only lasted a week or two. They started chewing on it and the next thing I knew, they had it shredded. There were strings all over my house. It was a concern that  they may have eaten one of the strings, thank goodness that was not the case. If I would have known it would come apart so easily, I would never have bought it. — — — … read full review »

I am thankful everyday for this toy. it keeps him entertained and is fun to watch him play.  It is a relatively safe toy,the only drawbaack I can really see is the strings that he is ableto pullout and leave all over the house.  For the entertainment it had provided and the enjoyment he gets from it the cost was rather… read full review »
