Bonne Bell Lip Smacker - All Products —

After Christmas Walmart began marking down all their holiday products to 50 and 75% off.  While going down the clearance aisles I came across the little gift sets with lotions and shower gels and then I saw a selection of lip balms.  I am a lip balm fanatic and will probably try anything at least once.   Well, I saw the Bonne Bell Lip Smackers and it took me down memory lane back when Santa left them in my stocking.

I got what is called the Party Pack; which contains 8 tubes.  The package was originally priced at $9.99 but I got it for a steal at for $2.50.  I figured at this price I would find a few flavors I would like and then I have plenty of younger children in my life who would like any of them so I pass them on.  The following is a list of the flavors that were available in the party pack:

  • Vanilla
  • Mango
  • Wild Raspberry
  • Watermelon
  • Tropical Punch
  • Cotton Candy
  • Kiwi
  • Strawberry

Each tube is 0.14 oz, the standard size lip balm.  I'm sitting in my study and I have a small basket of lip balm on my computer hutch and inside it is the Cotton Candy and Strawberry flavors.  I also have a basket on my vanity in the master bath and it contains a few tubes.  You will find lip balm stashed in various places in my house: in my book basket beside the recliner, in every jacket/coat pocket in my closet, in the desk drawer at my office, car console--you name it there is a tube of lip balm!

Ingredients:

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cetyl Acetate, Bee Wax (Cera Alba), Euphoria Cerifera Wax (Candelila), Flavor, Polybutene, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Propylene Glycol, Ozokerite, Copernica Cerifera Wax (carnauba), Acetylated Lanolin Acohol, Mineral (Paraffinum Liquidum) Oil, Hydrogenated Soy Glyceride, Paraffin, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Stearic Acid, Propyl Gallate, Citric Acid, Neotame, Sodium Saccharin ((Except Strawberry, bubble gum)), Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Methyl 2 Octynoate, Anise Alcohol, Amyl Cinnamal, Cinnamal, Limonene, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Citral, Eugenol, Farnesol, Titanium Dioxide, Red 7 Lake, Red 27 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake, Carmine, Iron Oxide, Manganese Violet, Red 40 Lake, Red 30 Lake, Blue 1 Lake, Red 6 Lake, Bismuth Oxychloride, Yellow 6 Lake, Red 33 Lake

Lip Smackers come in a variety of fun flavors and they are rich in flavor.  You can smell the scent when you remove the lid and you can taste it if you run your tongue across your lips.  I like that but I don't like that they are a little waxier than I prefer.  They aren't as waxy as the Chapstick products but I still prefer the Simple Pleasures or Blistex Smoothies varieties.  I also have to be very careful because Bonne Bell also has some Lip Smackers with glitter in them and due to sensitivities I cannot wear those.

Bonne Bell does not test any of their products on animals so that is a plus.

A product update: I just used the Cotton Candy for the first time.  It smells great and it is so smooth I had to make sure I wasn't using my Simple Pleasures Snowman lip balm.

The Bonnie Bell are sweet and soft and I can use them on the girls dry chapped winter lips. But for me I like the Burt's Bees
