The active ingredient of Bonine is meclizine hydrochloride. Also sold as a generic and known as both Antivert (RX) and Dramamine Less Drowsy. Meclizine is an antihistamine. It works for dizziness, as a sleep aid, to relieve nausea, helps with anxiety attacks, etc. It is a very versatile product, and it works very well.

I take meclizine hydrochloride and save myself a ton of money. 100 tablets for under $10.00. I never thought of them for anxiety attacks but they are great for motion sickness, dizziness, and vertigo!
