Bones is one of thebest shows on tv. It has consistent character development, never forgets who did what when and brings back story lines from previous seasons where they hadleft hanging because the "villian" had gotten away or it was complete in some way.

In addition to the crime aspect and lab scenes, the directors have take the time to develop personal relationships between the characters and show the impact that these relationships have on whatever case they are working on at the time. The chemistry between the cast members makes the show watchable without being over dramatic and over acted.

Temperance Brennan is a super geek with absolutely no ability to communicate effectively with society as a whole. Everything to her is a scientific question and any emotionality is a hindrance. Think of Spock without a sense of humor. She is taught taught about life in the real world, a world without the ivy walls, by the main protagonist, Sealy Booth, an FBI agent, who is full of life, compassion, loyalty and devotion to both people and job. Booth is the complete antithesis of Brennan.

Where some would say there are too many subplots upon occasion, it is the subplots that keep you interested and coming back for more. The plots almost always involve every one who works with Brennan in a variety of ways.

I absolutely adore this show and wish I began watching it earlier. For me. I make time each week to be home to watch the show.
