Bolt —

Bolt is an awesome movie. I went to see it with my 22-year-old son and we enjoyed ourselves to no end. We were previewing it to see it the grandkis, age 2 & 4, would like it and I can't wait to take them.
Disney has another great hit on their hands. John Travolta plays the voice of Bolt an adopted dog who ends up on a movie set and thinks hi is a real hero. He is the man (dog) that is always saving Penny (voice of Miley cyrus), his girl, from the man with the green eyes and his goons.
Bolt thinks that he is a superhero and has "superpowers" and when he "escapes" the movie set that has been his life and gets out into the real world none of his "superpowers" work. During his journey back to find Penny, he meets up with a cat named Mr. Mittens and a hilarious hamster named Rhino. At first Bolt believes that Styrofoam packing peanuts have caused the loss of his powers but he soon learns that he has no superpowers. He finally figures out that he is a hero even though he does not have "superpowers".
This movie caught our attention from the very beginning. The movie is action packed fro the start. The animation was superb and when they mixed reality with animation it worked wonderfully. Both my son and I were lauighing from the beginning and didn't stop until the end.
For us the hamster Rhino was the most hilarious part. You have this fat little hamster that thinks of Bolt as a legend and tries to be like him even though he is in a rolling ball. One of the best scenes is when Mr. Mittens, the cat, teaches Bolt to beg for food. He teaches him how to make adorable faces by tilting his head and looking up with his big eyes, this reminied us of our own dogs. Everyone in the theater was laughing whith this scene.
This is definitely a 5 star movie. While the younger kids may not be able to follow the plot, they will still enjoy watching Bolt, Mr. Mittens and Rhino.
