It isnt a lotion for dry skin. It smells nice for a little while, but then it starts to get old. It doesn't absorb well. My hands always feel dry again not long afte application. If you want a little perfume pick-up then it is fine. The price was cheap enough, suppose. I would recommend it only as a temporary fix for relief of dry hands and as a perfume for a little while. Scent The scent is a little overpowering but it is nice and makes a good perfume now and again. Though, after a while, it leaves a stale smell behind like cheep perfume. Absorption The absorption is horrible. I can still feel a sticky film on my hands afterwards. I feel the stickyness and my hands still feel pretty dry not long after the application. Effectiveness It is only good for temporary relief it seems. The stickyness is just too much and I would have to reapply it over and over again to get any sort of relief for dry winter hands. The only place it is effective is that it provides for a little perfume, which smells ok.

This lotion is one that is great to use all year round. There are some scents that go better in the summer and some that are better in the summer because they tend to smell a little sweeter. I use this one all year long. The smell is great and the body spray is the perfect addition to this lotion. Scent The smell is sweet without being to sweet. The smell is subtle and not overpowering unless you use to much. The smell can be a little much if you are using the lotion and the body spray together but it all depends on what you like. I think the smell is sweet and warm. Inviting without being pushy. Love this combo. Absorption Absorbs great. Leaves my skin soft without that shiny look from the oils and minerals in it. My skin is soft all day and the smell is so subtle that if I need to use a little more I can without having to worry about it being to much. Effectiveness This one is safe to use for all skin types. I can even use it on my face without having to worry about it breaking me out or leaving a rash. So glad that I found this product line.

Bodycology Brown Sugar Vanilla Hand & Body lotion is a pretty average lotion, at best. While it does smell good, the scent doesn't last. And it seems to have a certain kind of thickness to it, so it doesn't seem to absorb well. It didn't do anything at all for my skin. I have very sensitive skin... While it didn't irritate it, it didn't do anything to benefit me. It is budget friendly- but nothing special.

I'm a big fan of the Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath and Body Works so buying this lotion seemed like a great idea at the time because I assumed it wold smell and work the same. I didn't even know I was capable of being so wrong. Scent The scent is overpoweringly sweet and sickly. When you use it for the first time everyone in a twenty foot radius will be acutely aware that you have done so. As strong as the smell is, it seems to give a big kick right away and then fade away to nothing in about thirty minutes. Absorption This lotion had a pretty standard absorbtino quality. It took about eight minutes for it to fully absorb into my skin but it left behind a gross greasy feeling that I absolutely despise in lotions. Effectiveness M skin was soft and moist for a few hours after using this, but then I felt like I needed to reapply it to keep it feeling that way. The effects are definitely not long lasting enough and there are better products out there that will do a lot more for your skin.

I absolutely love the scent. You can't beat the price...similar scents by other companies cost two and three times more. The only negative about this product is that it is very thin. I love their body lotions and butters, but the hand lotion is just too thin for my preferences.

I bought Bodycology Rasperries and Cream Hand and Body Lotion for my office desk to use through out the day. The frangrance is a little overpowering when you first put it on, but quickly lessens and stays with you the rest of the day. It's a great lotion, and I love the price. It's not expensive and as a secretary my hands are always dry. Bodycology is a great product. I would recomend it to anyone wanting to purchase an inexpensive gift for mother's day or as a thank you gift to a friend or collegue.

I absolutely love Bodycolgy products.  My current favorite is White Gardenia shower gel and lotion. I bought a little gift size version during their Christmas clearance sale.  I loved it.  The smell is amazing.  When I walkedinto the room people would say "OOHH what's that great smell"  You could smell it instantly and the smell lasts all day.  I immediately went back and bought the large size products of the white gardenia and I haven't looked back.  I will probably not have to buy Bath and Body Works as much - although they do have scents that I can't live without.  Another Bodycology favorite is brown sugar vanilla.  The fragrance was the first one that i've tried and it's delectable.  I'm looking forward to trying their other scents, especially the fresh waters.I'm hoping that one is reminisant of cotton blossom.  I'm also eager to try clean lemon.  Bodycology products are definately a good buy.

Recently I received 3 samples from Bodycology.  I love the anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap, and now am trying the hand & body lotion.  The fragrance I have is brown sugar vanilla. The Hand & Body Lotion comes in ten of the twelve fragrances, Coconut Lime, Brown Sugar Vanilla, Cherry Blossom, Raspberries and cream, Apple Orchard, White Gardenia, Sweet Petals, Cucumber Melon, Vanilla Romance, and Berrypear.The first thing you notice about the brown sugar vanilla hand & body lotion is the smell.  It is really strong and if you use too much, it can be a little overpowering.  This is more like a cream than a lotion.  It rubbed into my hands very easily and I was amazed that they immediately felt damp/moist.  I had only used a small amount but it really does go far.  I had actually put too much on my hands and had to remove some with a Kleenex.I then applied more lotion to the rest of my body.  I used far less lotion than I do with any of my other moisturizing lotions and creams.  It soaked into my skin and it really did feel very moist.  What I did notice with the hand & body lotion, compared to the anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap, was the fact that the brown sugar vanilla was too overpowering being over my body.  With the soap I was able to rinse it away and it left just a mild smell, which was great.  This was a sweet sickly smell that really got up my nose, and I didn't enjoy it.What Bodycology say about it:"For Daily Rejuvenation: Smooth this luxurious lotion gently over skin to moisturize and add radiance - for a delectable spa sensation.Beneficial Ingredients:Hydrating Aloe Vera, Moisturizing Shea Butter and Nourishing Vitamins E & C.The warm scent of vanilla, brown sugar and sensual amber create a cozy, comforting scent." I didn't find the smell 'cozy or comforting', actually it was way too overpowering.  It is a shame because the lotion really worked great. The lotion would be 4 stars, but the fragrance only 1.

Samples are wonderful, and I received free samples of Bodycology Brown Sugar Vanilla Hand & Body Lotion, and 2 of their other products.The Hand & Body Lotion comes in ten of the twelve fragrances, Coconut Lime, Brown Sugar Vanilla, Cherry Blossom, Raspberries and cream, Apple Orchard, White Gardenia, Sweet Petals, Cucumber Melon, Vanilla Romance, and Berrypear. I opened the sachet of hand & body lotion, and squeezed a little of the liquid onto the back of my hand. It had the really strong smell of the brown sugar vanilla. I rubbed it into my hands, and the thick cream disappeared.  It left my hands greasy, so I then rubbed them over my arms, to remove the excess lotion. I hate this fragrance, it is so overpowering, and once you have put it on, the only way you can remove it, is to have a shower.  After 30 minutes I had no choice but to take a shower. I think I would have liked it in Cucumber Melon, or possibly Apple Orchard, but I just couldn't get passed the really sweet smell.  I can imagine an old lady, not like me only 62, perhaps liking it,  I figured that bees would be checking me out, to see what all the sweetness was all about.Beneficial Ingredients:Hydrating Aloe Vera, Moisturizing Shea Butter and Nourishing Vitamins E & C.The warm scent of vanilla, brown sugar and sensual amber create a cozy, comforting scent."I am so pleased I received a sample so I didn't waste any money on it. Bodycology's Brown Sugar Vanilla hand and body lotion is delicious!! It both smells delicious and feels delicious. The package says the warm scents of vanilla, brown sugar, and amber combine to create a cozy and comforting scent. I agree, but the scent is also rich and sweet. The lotion contains aloe vera and shea butter for moisturizing and hydrating, and vitamins C and E to nourish your skin. When you first put this lotion on you notice how thick and smooth it is. It seems to be well absorbed by your skin and it leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. At first the scent seems strong, but as you work it into your skin it really becomes quite mellow. The scent also lasts a long time on your skin. I especially like the moisturizing quality of the lotion. Sometimes body lotions feel good as you apply them, but then they seem to disappear. The hydrating benefits of this lotion last a long time, and the sweet scent lingers, too.
