After reading about Vitamin E and its benefits for your skin I decided to pick up The Body Shop's Vitamin E offerings including their Vitamin E Cream Cleanser. My skin gets very dry in the winter, despite its normally combination to oily nature. I can usually use a heavier duty cleanser during the winter with no problems however this cleanser was really just too much for my skin. This went on very thick and reminded me of a cold cream almost. I tried it over the course of a few days during the middle of the winter and instead of hydrating my skin it left it looking like an oil slick. It was basically okay to use at night as I'd wash my face again in the morning anyway, but in the morning it was totally not an option. There was no way I could apply makeup over skin that was almost slippery. I ended up giving this to a friend who has ultra dry skin and loves it. If you have extremely dry skin this would be great for you, but otherwise I'd recommend a pass.

If you have any oil on your skin at all, this product is not for you one bit. I picked it up in the winter when I lived in Massachusetts a while back, because I felt like my skin was getting dry and I know that the other Vitamin E products from the Body Shop that I have tried have made my skin super soft. However, this product even when my skin was super dry just didn't work with my skin. I felt like it was coating my skin and it didn't wash off well. I had to use a facial brush every single time I used this product. So when I went back to the Body Shop, I was advised that this product was for mature skin. The Vitamin E cleanser smelled good and that was about it. I haven't figured what else to do with this product yet, as it feels more like a moisturizer than it does feel like a cleanser. Ease of Application It was easy to put on but it was a pain to take off. Scent The scent was the light scent and smelled exactly like their moisturizer.

I just started trying this cleanser about two weeks ago, and so far I really like it. My first product from the vitamin e line by the body shop was the face mist, and I loved that. I have been using that for a long time, so I decided to try some of the other products on the line as well. So far I am very impressed with the cleanser, it cleanses my face very well -- leaving it feeling clean and refreshing! Also, when I wash my face with it my face feels super soft throughout the whole process and when I rinse off, my face is like baby SOFT! I love it! My skin is acne prone, and this cleanser does not make me break out or anything, so I really like it. I have been a clinique cleanser user for sometime but decided to try something new.

I love the vitamin e line from the body shop, the cleanser for this line is awesome, I use it every day and every time I use it my face is super soft afterwards. I love how it cleanses my face plus leaving it baby soft afterwards. I bought this at the body shop and used my friends card for 10% off, even with the 10% off, the product is originally very expensive for a cleanser anyway. I love the rose smell, the smell is not very strong, and it feels and smells very natural on the face. I have sensitive skin, and I am always afraid of products used on my face that have a lot of scent in them, but this product is definitely good for my sensitive skin! Even though the price is expensive, it is really worth it. So it is a must buy! I also have the Vitamin E spray, I use that every day in the morning after moisturizer and it keeps my face moisturized all day, very good for dry winter weather, if you live in the east coast like me, the weather is horrible in the winter. So the cleanser + the spray is complete hydration and moisturizing for my face! MUST BUY!

I would certainly label myself a bargain hunter in most areas. I love getting a good deal. One thing I think you really can't compromise on though is skin care. That is why I love the products from The Body Shop and the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser in particular. This is really a great product. Up until January I didn't really have a "skin regimen" in place. I just bought whatever face soap was on sale. I love The Body Shop though and decided to give their Vitamin E line a chance. I really love the way this cleanser makes my face feel. It is not at all oily and I haven't had any problems with break outs since I've started using it. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is a bonus when you're using a product on your face. I use most of the products in this line and feel they all work really well together. This is a great product that is good for your skin and the enviornent (like the rest of The Body Shop products). It is a little pricy compared to Drug Store cleansers though.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser was part of a gift set given to me for Christmas. It included Vitamin E Toner and Eye Cream.  The Toner and Cleanser gifts were in small snap-top bottles. I recently read an excellent review about the Body Shop's **Vitamin E Hydrating Toner** and I decided to review my "**Vitamin E Cream Cleanser**", because it's a well-performing product, also. My Body Shop **Vitamin E Cream Cleanser** gift set sample came in a 2.0 fl. oz. clear bottle with a flip-top dispenser.  It is supposed to gently wash away all make-up, clean your face without drying it out, and remove any external pollutants. This cleanser does a fine job of washing away any make-up and dirt, and promoting a healthier looking complexion, at the same time. **PROCEDURE**:  You need to squeeze the bottle a bit to dispel the semi-thick, pale, pink cream cleanser inside. You shake it a little, than squeeze out about a nickel-sized amount on your palm. Then, wet down your face and gently massage this cream all over your face, including the eye area. It reminds me of a cold cream, in texture, with a light, fresh scent. There will be no foaming action with this cream cleanser. It will remain as a  cream while you gently massage it into your skin. I generally wipe my face with a tissue or cotton pad after applying it, then rinse gently. It will wash off quickly, as well. I then follow it with the superb, Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. It does a very good job of removing mascara, eyebrow pencil, lip liner, foundation, and blush. It rinses away just fine without using tissues, but, I do use some cotton puffs to clean around my eyes anyway. I've also used this Cream Cleanser as an eyemake-up remover.  It didn't sting, either. When you're finished rinsing this cream cleanser off your face, it will feel very moisturized.  **Normal to Dry Skin Types**, and those with **Sensitive Skin**, would benefit most from its moisturizing results. I normally don't use an all-in-one cream cleanser for my face. If I have full make-up on, I normally remove my eye make-up with a different product specifically for the eyes. With The Body Shop's  Vitamin E Cream Cleanser, I can use this cream for my eyes, and for my whole face as well. The Body Shop's Vitamin E Cream Cleanser has **Vitamin E**, which is a natural anti-oxidant, that protects your skin from free radicals and environmental stress such as the sun, and air pollutants.  It also contains **Wheat Germ Oil**, which is the "richest source of Vitamin E", according to the website, to aid in fighting free-radical damage to your skin. Finally, **Shea Butter** and **Soy Oi**l contribute suppleness to the skin. **INGREDIENTS**: Water, Aloe Barbedensis Gel, C12-15, Alkyl Benzoate, methyl Gluceth-20, Tridecyl Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, neopentyl Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Tridecyl, Trimellitate, Methylparaben, Sodium PCA, Disodium EDTA, Red 33, Yellow 5, Blue 1, plus other Parabens and their associated buddies **MY OPINION**: This Vitamin E Cream Cleanser does a great job in removing surface impurities and make-up. It rinses off beautifully with no residual product left behind. I'm giving it four stars though because of the list of parabens contained in the ingredients list, plus the dyes used to color this cream cleanser. These parabens and dyes have possible health risks and are undergoing scrutiny.
