Body Central (www.bodyc.com) is a very limited website for very thin women. Their sizing is inaccurate and their choices are very, very limited. They have cute items but getting the right fit is almost impossible.

I love to buy trendy clothing via the internet. I loved the clothes on Body Central (www.bodyc.com) but I quickly learned that the sizing is off and that everything fits differently. Also their stock is VERY limited and, if you wear over a size 11 or 13 in junior's, forget it. There is nothing on this site that will fit you. And, the sizes run small as it is!

The Site

This site has a variety of trendy tops, jeans, shorts, dresses, and accessories for the young woman. The women modeling aren't kids but they seem to be in their late 20's. the styles are all in junior's sizes and run small so keep that in mind. I am a size 3 or 4 in jeans and the size 5's were snug. I am a size Medium in tops and the Larges strain and nearly burst when I wear them.

They have very few choices. Clothing comes only in one color choice usually. Sizing is off the wall. One size Medium will fit me fine and another will be way too small. Prices are decent, especially for the tops. But quality is not high. It's Wal*Mart or a bit above quality.

Shipping starts at $5.95 and goes up to well over $17.95 with no breaks and no free shipping ceilings.  Returns are accepted but, of course, shipping is not refunded.

My Experience

I have shopped on the site a few times and won't go back. The tops are trendy and cute. Prices are usually reasonable. But I am sick of getting clothing that doesn't fit as described or doesn't even LOOK as described. The sizes and colors are very limited and the quality isn't much better than I can get at mass-market stores for the same or lower prices.

There isn't really any advantage for me to shop on this site. While other sites may be more expensive, I find I get what I want in the fit I want with no hassles so I stay away from Body Central and shop at sites that are more reliable.

My Viewpoint on Body Central

Limited choices. Very small sizes. Everything fits differently. No shipping breaks for big orders. Size Large in tops is often out of stock (because very few real women wear tiny Barbie Doll clothes).

I am not impressed although I do like their styles. I look at the site and then look elsewhere for similar styles. Works for me.

2 stars. This site is just too unreliable as far as sizing and quality to recommend to you.
