Bodum Chambord 1.5-Cup French Press Review Summary

Drip coffee makers are by far the most common means for brewing coffee but one alternative that some coffee drinkers like better is the Bodum Chambord 1.5 Cup French Press. This small coffee maker is praised by reviewers for its quick brewing and, most importantly, for the great taste of the coffee it produces, which is often more flavorful and rich than that produced by a drip coffee maker. The Bodum Chambord 1.5 Cup French Press does have one obvious disadvantage: It brews only a small amount of coffee at a time, making it impractical for large families or large groups of coffee drinkers. Still, the Bodum Chambord 1.5 Cup French Press offers a “Wonderful Way to Brew a Great Cup of Coffee…or Two” and it rates very highly when compared to other Coffee Makers.

I had been drinking coffee made in a drip coffee maker for years. One day i read an article on how to make the perfect cup of coffee, you needed 4 things, fresh cold water, good whole bean coffee, a grinder and a French press coffe pot. I bought a Bodum French Press and a grinder, followed the very...

This glass based press is nice and filters the grounds well. However, the model doesn't filter the grounds again as you pour your cup. Also, the press is a little bulky to be portable. It is, of course, portable due to its size, but carrying glass on a flight is always hazardous. Drastic temperature...

A couple years ago my husband and I went to dinner at a 5 star, very expensive restaurant and after our meal I ordered coffee. It came in a french press and it was amazing. I immediately went out an bought the 1.5 cup Chambord coffee press and I use it basically every day.

I grew up in a house where the coffee was strong and always good quality coffee. So I'm REALLY picky about coffee. The french press is amazing because you can get strong coffee fast and the taste is unlike anything else. Also, it's really afforable. My husband isn't a coffee drinker, so this smaller size is great for making coffee...

Step up your mundane coffee drinking experience with a wonderful Bodum Chambord 1.5-Cup French Press.  It takes the pleasure of sipping a most wonderful cup of coffee to a higher plane with a freshness of flavor that is non-pareil!  None of that horrible taste attendant to the result of coffee-maker machine generated brews.  Just a smooth, delicious blend with every cup.  A must-have for any well-appointed (or, in my case, a not so well-appointed) kitchen.

I have just bought a larger size Bodum French Press.  I can only drink 2 cups of coffee daily. Then, I try to use the press for making my flower tea.  It is really amazing and surprised by the wonderful taste as compared by using normal tea pot.  I am really enjoyed on this ease of use and multi-functions coffee press.

I Love this coffee press!! My daughter gave me the Bodum tea press for Christmas last year and I loved it. My espresso machine bit the dust, so was looking for something that was inexpensive, but still produced a quality coffee. I am so pleased with the ease of use for the french press, the taste is excellent and much easier on my stomach.

The first time I ever had coffee made in a press pot was at the Kona Kafe in Disney World. It was wonderful. I bought this inexpensive and completely portable press pot to duplicate the taste experience. It proved to be a great success. Now I can't imagine making a cup of coffee any other way

I love my bodum french press.  It makes great tasting coffee, and is easy to use.  Plus, I really like the styling of it, and I have a larger one for when we have company.  You can really control the flavor and strength of your coffee with a french press!

picked this little guy up at Starbucks, figured it'd be a way to avoid the sludge at work. It's from Bodum, so it's sturdy & reliable, it doesn't make enough coffee for a big morning cup. if you want a nice pick-me-up in the afternoon, this is your guy.

I love the actual taste of coffee - drinking it black and fairly strong.  I cannot wait to get up every morning and use my French Press.  The coffee always tastes fresh.  There is little waste as I don't have to make a lot of it.
