This stuff is delicious, it has a texture and flavor similar to meat so it can easily be substituted into recipes that you may have enjoyed before becoming a vegetarian. My parents and my boyfriend who aren't vegetarians will also eat this with me and they enjoy it. It has less of a fattyness of real meat. One of my favorite things to do with this is just mix it into tomato sauce and eat it on pasta.

I used these in spaghetti sauce and was pleasantly surprised! The texture was similar to actual hamburger once cooked. The crumbles had a decent flavor. I think they are a good substitute for meat at a reasonable price as far as vegetarian options are concerned.

I do not eat red meat and have been eating BOCA soy burgers for several years. They are tasty, healthy and easy to prepare, which is a must for a non-cook like myself. My husband is a meat and potatoes guy who knows how to cook. So while he is busy slaving over the barbecue making a carnivore dinner for himself and our two children, I wait until the last minute and microwave myself a BOCA meal. I definitely got the better deal. I had never seen the **BOCA Meatless Ground Crumbles **at the grocery store and didn't know the product existed until I received some coupons for it. It took a while for me to find it, but I was happy that I persisted because it turned out to be a wonderful product that my entire family will eat (yes, even my picky husband). So far, I have only used it to make chili but it is SO tasty and filling and has a meaty texture that my family likes. What I really like is the nutrition data. One 12oz. bag contains 6 servings (1/2 cup each) and each serving has only 60 calories, 0.5g fat (no saturated or trans fat), 6g carbohydrates, 3g fiber, and 13g of protein. For anyone using the Weight Watchers Point System, a serving is only one point! I stocked up on the **BOCA Meatless Ground Crumbles **when I finally found them and still have a bag or two in my freezer. I am a complete fan of this product and will definitely be purchasing it again, coupon or not. Yes, it's that good!

I have been vegetarian for about 13 yrs and now recently went vegan and I have to say Boca is the best out of all the veggie meats I have tried and I absolutly love the crumbles. I make tacos, chili, sloppy joes etc. They have the perfect texture and a wonderful taste. I can even get my boyfriend to eat it without complaining about the fact it not being real meat and he loves it. Its so easy to work with too. Makes my lunch or dinner preperations so quick and easy. Just throw it in a pan with a little olive oil or canola oil and maybe 5 min its done and ready to use. I dont know what I would do without the Boca brand and the fact that Publix has it on sale for buy 1 get 1 free quite often it keeps my budget in line.

I first got hooked on Boca Burgers several years ago and I love the sirloin flavor that gives them the delicious "grilled outdoors" flavor. With all the problems we have heard about red meat I no longer buy ground beef, and boring, tasteless ground turkey just doesn't fill the bill. So I decided to try the crumbles because they so closely resembled ground beef. They came in a twelve-ounce package, but it was a perfect amount to use in place of one pound of ground beef. I used the Boca Meatless Ground Crumbles to make tacos with the Taco Bell taco kit and they turned out perfectly! It was better than ground turkey by a long shot! I then tried them in chili, spaghetti, and sloppy joes with the same perfect results. They are great for any dish where you would use ground beef. They are made from soy, so they are also a very healthy, low-fat alternative to ground beef. What a great way to enjoy ground "beef" without the fat or calories!

These Boca crumbles are great. I first tried them because I got a free coupon. They were really good & were low in points on Weight Watchers. I could use the whole bag for 6 points on Weight Watchers. Whole bag equals a pound of ground beef. If I were to use a pound of ground beef that would be 16 points minimum on Weight Watchers. My favorite thing to use the Boca Crumbles is when I make taco meat. I am able to enjoy eating what my family is eating but in a healthier way and still stay within my point range for the day. Have also used them when I have made hamburger helper & homemade pizza. I had those for supper one night when my sister came over and she did not even realize that it was not ground beef. Another advantage to using Boca crumbles is that it is faster to make them & do not have to keep as much of an eye on them as you do ground beef. Plus you do not have to worry about draining fat like you would with ground beef.

I am vegetarian and often cook with this product to serve dishes that satisfy the whole family.  As the only vegetarian in my household, it is often a challenge to find meals that are healthy, popular, tasteful, and enjoyable for all of us.  This product helps us create meals that achieve that difficult balance. I would like to point out that Boca makes a "regular" version of this product and a "natural" version.  The natural version is more difficult to find, but we prefer it because the ingredients are (in our minds) less processed. We use these quite commonly for tacos, spagetti, and chili.  The meat-eaters in our household enjoy the tacos with Boca rather than ground beef and do not complain about taste being different or not liking it.  They get excited to eat the meals prepared with Boca and enjoy them. As compared to other meatless products, Boca has great texture and taste.  There are some brands of meatless products that I won't purchase, and I believe it is difficult to create a "meat analog" such as this that satisfies the mainstream.  But this does.
