Boca Java Coffee — 

I was a Boca Java customer for close to a year and did enjoy the coffee, but the customer service was extremely poor, along with supporting their "member claims".  My first problem with their service had to do with never receiving the free sample that was supposed to come with each shipment.  When I contacted the customer service via email regarding this, they merely repeated my email back to me.  When I questioned it again, they gave me the directions on how to get the free sample.  I told them that was exactly what I had done; they then repeated that email back to me; I repeated the same thing back to them.  I don't believe they ever bothered to read what was written.  They finally answered they could see I had selected whatever roast for my free sample, but it was not showing in my order (and it did not arrive in the order).  The next problem I had was I selected whole bean, yet received ground.  I figured I must have made a mistake the first time, so after that I was extremely careful and double and triple checked each time before I hit the final button.  The last time I ended up with grounds I related all that to them.  They told me to be more careful.  I told them the same thing again, I had triple checked; they said I could send it back (which meant I would be out the postage coming to me and going back).  I told them to never send me any more coffee, do not ever charge me anything more.  They never even said goodbye to me.  When I went to check on the status of that final order, I couldn't get into my account, they had just cut me off.

As an add on to this -- where I could not get back into my account because it showed I no longer had an account, a couple days ago, I got an email saying my next shipment was on the way, and how they valued me as a customer. I jumped on that and told them I had told them never to send me anything again or charge me again, to refund my money immediately, and how I couldn't log on. Suddenly, I have an account again!

As my favorite little girl actress always says "How Rude!" I would not have made it past the second time with them doing that. You have a lot more patience than I do. Welcome to Viewpoints! Ron
