Tonight we took the kids out to Sushi.  Tank Sushi (see my review) had a 20 minute wait so we decided to try out Bob San which I believe is owned by the same people who own Naniwa which is close our office on Wells Street.

We had a great meal.  Ordered the Dragon Roll, the Rainbow Roll, the Spicy Tuna without mayonaise roll.  My son also ordered a roll with cream cheese which I did not try. We also ordered a Chicken Teriaki for the non fish eaters.  Our soon to be three year old also ate a whole bowl of un cooked tofu.  (don't ask, but he was happy as a clam).

The cost of $85, and then with tip was $100.  For five people I guess not that bad, but considering everyone drank water and we only had four rolls, it seemed steep to me.  Nonetheless, it was very good and we pretty much cleaned our plates.   There is something we like better about Tank, but it is just a little too crowded and little too far away.

The waitress was very nice.  She gave the kids modified chop sticks and chatted us up about the kids and then provided free oranges for deserts.  Our one hour in the restaurant was pretty much free of dirty looks from the other patrons or the staff. (Our kids can be a bit loud...)

Oddly enough I would recommend Bob San for both family sushi night and a quick date night.  Just not a super special sushi experience.  That might be Kaze.

My kids wouldn't eat sushi (or tofu) if it was the only thing on earth left to eat. But neither would I. (I will eat Tofu but not raw fish.)

One day I will get up the guts to try some but it better be at a very reliable place so I don't get sick. I am scared of raw fish. Eek.
