Comments about Bob Binnie Jr. Pure Honey - Raw and Natural:
My Poppaw always kept bees, so we had fresh honey growing up. His bees moved the week he died. That was strange. I guess he had the magic for bees.
We all love honey, and my youngest is especially a honey fan. Kido adores dark honey with the comb. You don't find that in the store. In fact, store honey often has corn syrup and coloring. It's definately not the same.
Dark honey has a richer flavor. It's not often sold, since folks like the looks of the light colored honey. Honey comes in a range depending on what the bees used to make the honey. Poppaws honey was light some years and dark others.
We usually buy our honey in the mountains. The honey we found this year was collected by Bob Binnie, Jr. out of Georgia. It looks a lot like my Poppaw's honey - dark and with the comb. It's in an old fashioned canning jar.
The honey is delicous. We ate so much on the vacation that we stopped and got another jar on the way home. Actually we got two jars, so we'd have one to give our neighbor who fed our critters while we were gone.
