USAA Banking and Insurance
If you are eligible for USAA insurance, you would be a fool for not using them (sorry to be so blunt). While I am not sure it is a downside, the only consideration you need to take into account relative to USAA is whether or not you qualify. USAA is only available to certain people, such as military families, dependents, etc. If you fall into this category and do not currently use USAA, change, ASAP. When I got my car in May 2008 I had heard such great reviews on Geico. Little did I know I was going to be taken over big time due to my age. I had to may almsot 400.00 before my crash a month not every six months. After my little fender bender I was close to 475/month. When 6month hit I switched to Statefarms and when they gave me my new rate for 6months and now I only have to put 115 away each month I'm still in shocked and I just recieved a check from State Farms giving me money back because I turned 22.

Nationwide Insurance
Nationwide's rates were significantly higher than other quality carriers. Then, when my renewal was approaching they told me to expect a 25% increase. The week before renewal, I got a bill for a slight increase just to have a new bill arrive 4 days later at the 25% higher amount.
I immediately got new quotes and found that another major provider would insure my home for 50% less than Nationwide.
Wanting to keep HO and auto with the same carrier and a auto renewal date approaching, I submitted the paperwork to cancel with Nationwide. Apparently there was some confusion about the actual end date...

Progressive
I have used Progressive Auto Insurance for 7 years now. Their customer service is incredible. I've had to use their 24 hour road service a time or two, and I was very impressed at how quickly they got someone out to help me. When I was in a car accident, I just had to make one phone call. The lady who helped me was very nice. While I was on the phone with her, Progressive called the police and the paramedics for me. My car was towed, and repaired within a week. The person in the claims department who helped me was very patient, and walked me through the whole process. I feel that...

Last summer, I went online and took the '15 minutes could save you...' test with a quote for automobile insurance form Geico Online. Sure, enough, the quote was nearly half what I was currently paying Allstate. I bought the policy online and printed out new proof of insurance cards obtained online from Geico using my PC. Allstate
A few years ago I needed to switch insurance companys so the first one that I found was Allstate. I called and they gave me a quote over the phone, I liked the quote that they were able to give me so I went down to do the paperwork. The woman that I had talked to on the phone was who also set me up. To find out she had been working for Allstate for years and that day she had bought that particular location. Nationwide Insurance
My own experience with Nationwide Insurance Company.
I never write these things maybe because English is my second language or maybe because I'm easy to deal with but this time I will make exception.
