Most HelpfulIf you are thinking of purchasing a BlueGreen Membership or if you are a disgruntled owner, take a moment to consider some of the following points. I realize that most people who are angry are usually suffering from buyer's remorse. Hopefully this will ease some of your self-inflicted pain. ...

Most HelpfulPlease, please, do not fall for the lies of your salesperson. We beileved everything and when we went back to the manager wondering why we weren't getting everything we were promised, we were basically told that we were lying and that we were never told those things.
Please, in anything you do, GET...
read full review »We went in for our Blue Green Vacation Resort owner review, and we were told that because we didn't renew our Travlers Plus card we could not use are points for a cruise.
When they called to tell us to update this thing, nothing was said about this. So in order to get back your Travlers Plus card you have to not only pay the $49.00 fee, they make you buy additional 3,000 points! What a scam! I have been a very disappointed owner for about three years now, I would highly recommed NOT buying from Blue Green.
We purchased a 1 year trial memebership at Blue Green to see if it would work for us. Everytime we tried to book a room we were told all the rooms for the trial members had already been booked. It didn't matter what season it was in or how far in advance we tried to book it. We only got one hotel stay in out of our entire year. When we were brought back in to be asked if we wanted to become "real members" we said absolutely not because we had never been given an oppurtunity to test the program to our satisfaction because we could never get into any of the hotels and had basically wasted almost...

We will be able to travel much more frequently, and to better quality resorts, as a result.
We have belonged to "Blue Green " for 9 ugly years. they talk the talk but can't deliver the goods. and then the oly way to catch anything is to get more points, we are "gold" members and still can not get into the resorts we want so i told them we want to sell the properties , yes properties cause we pay maintaince fees on 4 different properties. unfortunatly for us we can not sell these as seperate properties ,we have to sell all the points at once. then they change our renewal date from sept. when we would have gotten 38000 points to march , basicaly after the kids spring breaks so it's too...
read full review »BlueGreen Vacations is perhaps the most unprofressional company I have ever dealt with. It truly follows if it is too good to be true, it probably is idea. We signed up for a sampler package and have headaches since. Despite filling out all of the paperwork correctly for a monthly bank draft, BlueGreen failed to draft from our account. Once we caught this and informed the company it took over a month to create a solution. Once this was fixed, two weeks later we received a letter informing us we turned over to a collections agency...another of several afternoons wasted fixing a BlueGreen...
read full review »since we joined bluegreen 9yrs ago we and i have traveled more than ever before and its always first class, it may not work for everyone, but if it works for you, you'll love it. just like anything you have to be flexible with dates or at least have multiple dates. we have stayed in orlando, wis. dells, michigan, las vegas, myrtle beach, miami, branson and never had a problem, most resorts don't allow pets but i am not one of those people so it has never been a problem with me.
We have owned BG for about 4 years now. It has been great! The accomodations are superior to a hotel room. We typically pay our fees early and plan so we can get on the wait list for what we want. (Once you pay early if you always pay then each year it is no different than paying when they are due.) We can take family with us or go alone due to the variety of accomoidations. The sales staff is exactly that - sales staff. They do lead you to believe that you can get bonus time, (We have used this a couple times to extend our stay somewhere and a few other times, but it is hard and almost...
read full review »My mother and I purchased Bluegreen this past year in Aruba after renting from a Bluegreen owner. It was a fabulous vacation, and after 2 months we added more points to get to Gold status. This allows both of us to split the costs and trade off on who uses the points if one of us wants to take a bigger (ie. more expensive points vacation) or longer vacation one year. In less than a year, we've also separately been to Williamsburg, Suites at Hershey, Shennandoah Crossing and Club 36. Our main vacation will be Aruba every year, but with all the bonus time (and yes, we've booked vacations...
